Why no cams for 15gt?

Why are there no cams for 15 gt? Are they not worth it or just to reformative on these motors

only people who might get cams are people who either dieing to have them or need them for racing. the big interest just hasn't happened yet I guess. i'd imagine big pita to install too.

Well chevy owners do it cause of big gains and if these net 50-60 as state that's a great buy !

It's not copying what they do its basing a capable mods potential which has been stated against spending 6k+ for Fi . if I want to cam I will cam its as simple as that.[emoji14]

I'm guessing the pushrod Chevy guys have an easier time with the cam swap than Coyote guys. I remember the FRPP Hot Rod cams being popular on the 4.6 3v though. Maybe it has something to do with the VVCT?

Buying 2 cams is easier/cheaper than buying 4 cams. Just like buying 1 cam is easier than 2 cams.

A couple of 11-14 guys have done cams and seen ~500rwhp, so I'd imagine the 15+ cars would be a bit higher since the heads are better. I think the highest na hp 11-14 car made 522. I'd link the thread but its on s v t. Not many 5.0 guys want to go the all motor route, they just slap some kind of FI on it and call it done, its a shame really. A lot of that is due to the HP/$ though. A cam swap is a lot simpler on an LS motor lol.

To me 1500 isnt bad for the cams + 50-60whp gains!! But idk why comp made them and its been over a year with no word on it

The cams have not been out for a year. They were just released in the last month or 2. I don't believe they even have them in stock yet as someone talked to the vendor at one of the big events and they said they are being produced at this time.
