Because "not specifically authorized by chp" is a load of bullshit.
The law says no flashing blue lights, no red, and green is for volunteer firefighters. Thats it.

I am allowed to smoke, it is a public street. I have the right to do so. A cop does not have the authority to tell me no. a cop may ask you not to step out and smoke, which are his personal wishes, but he cannot force you not to. Forcing me not to becomes an abuse of power.

Should i pretend that you know what your doing until i find out otherwise as well? Cause thats what mr. Warner told me to do.

I didnt get a ticket, and no other cops have bothered me for it.

the reason he stopped me wasn't a reason at all.
he looked "the code" up after stopping me. "lighting not authorized by chp"
the chp does not authorize shit. they do not make laws.
he pulled me over because he's a power bent asshole, hoping he could find something illegal after pulling me over(which is against the law by the way mr. officer).

(a) Any vehicle may be equipped with a lamp or device on the exterior of the vehicle that emits a diffused nonglaring light of not more than 0.05 candela per square inch of area.
(b) Any diffused nonglaring light shall not display red to the front, but may display other colors. A diffused nonglaring light shall not resemble nor be installed within 12 inches or in such position as to interfere with the visibility or effectiveness of any required lamp, reflector, or other device upon the vehicle.

And in my state in order for your car to have any blue or red light has to be authorized by state police . A lot of of duty important people have permission to run code in their personal care in case of emergency . Calm yourself don't have a stroke

Also, the way you said you would have handled the situation, i would have respected and appreciated. I still wouldnt fix it if you were wrong, but i would not have argued.
This guy pissed me off from the get go just the way he pulled up to me before he even got out.

Now maybe your laws are different and thats okay, but in california they are legal, and he had no right to stop me for them.

Also i have a copy of the code printed out and stored in my glovebox now, so honestly, i cant wait to be pulled over for my blue lights again. In fact i really hope mr. Warner pulls me over again. That would be even better. He can write me a ticket too. Ill just get it thrown out in court.

Lol . Even if a cop is wrong just keep your cool . You kinda just fueled him so neither of you could have been right/wrong you both had a attitude and it fueled him. I personally don't care about the light there's other crimes for me to attend to . But at 2am it does give me enough to stop you and see what's going on . Make sure there's not a dead hooker in your car lol

Normally i am extremely respectful. Ive been pulled over 9 seperate times in the last 3 years for various things, and ive gotten one ticket. I deserved that ticket. I saw the cop, and pulled over before he even had a chance to pull out and put his lights on. He saw me, i knew he saw me, i knew i was wrong, so i pulled over and waited for him in a safe area.
If you saw the way mr. Warner pulled up to the side of my car, and it was you in that position, you may not have been in the best mood talking to the guy either.

It seemed like it. He pulled up to my car to block me. Like it literally looked like what they do to box someone in when theyre in a stolen car or running from the police or something. I was like wtf.
