When is the first delivery to Oz?

I've been told otherwise. As you'd expect with the consistency of information.

This is as of 1 week ago. Ford Australia were able to give me a build date based on the NSC and told me to contact them again next week to get my VIN for tracking.

I'll just see what happens. It'll be here when it's here.

How did you get on to Ford Australia and more importantly who did you get on to?

I got told that Ford Oz were saying 60-70 days from Gate Release to dealership depending upon location.

I'm concerned something has happened and that there have been cars just pushed back for reasons unknown - Aussie MustangGT and I originally had the same ETA of November and have had our VINs for some time (nearly 8 weeks in my case), but no build date from Deysha, window sticker or information in ETIS yet.

EDIT: Window sticker appeared overnight, to be built next week.

Hybrid GT I hate to say it, but if your car doesn't have a VIN yet there is probably slim to no chance of it going into build next week, as you would have received the VIN well and truly before now.

I'm concerned something has happened and that there have been cars just pushed back for reasons unknown - Aussie MustangGT and I originally had the same ETA of November and have had our VINs for some time (nearly 8 weeks in my case), but no build date from Deysha, window sticker or information in ETIS yet.

EDIT: Window sticker appeared overnight, to be built next week.

Also received the window sticker overnight, scheduled to be built wednesday next week!

Hmm thanks for the update, I have been told that mine will be delivered in December but my build starts 14/10 not sure how that is going to happen to be honest.

That there were to be 2 shipments about a week apart, arriving here late Nov early dec and then going to OZ
I reckon they will be on the
Parsifal leaving Baltimore Oct 28, Auckland Nov 23 and Brisbane Nov 27, Pt Kembla Nov 30, Melbourne Dec 2.
and
Fidelio, leaving Baltimore Nov 2 Auckland Nov 30, Melbourne dec 5
These seem to be the only 2 that fit
Nearly there men, at least we are virtually in month of departure

Hey Wil, I think they have forgotten about me. I got a response from Ford Aust, when I emailed them, but it was obviously a standard reply. Now I am waiting on my reply from Deysha. :(

I rang Ford Cust serv last week trying to get an update on order confirmation, but they advised me to go back to the dealer. My dealer just said you have a purchase agreement and that all that anyone gets.

What has anyone received once you placed an order

Sisan....all I have received is frustration.
Ford customer service is the antithesis of service......they know nothing and tell you even less.
The dealer has your deposit....that's all they care about....
Attempting to gain any other information is pointless.

A number of months ago Ford announced that the delivery dates were being pushed back a few months.
Many people got quite vocal and some cancellations were made. Ford Oz then came out telling all and sundry that they were working hard to fix that and then brought the delivery times forward, using all sorts of reasons and excuses.
Deposit payers were appeased and it all calmed down for a while, but it was all bullshit to delay the obvious....we are still going to get them at the first delayed dates...if any arrive this year it will not be due to any efforts from Ford Oz or Ford USA....they are incompetent and arrogant.

The other guys here can confirm what I am about to say. I believe that if you have just placed your order, you will not see your car until towards the end of 2016. Your VIN number and window sticker will not be available until some time before that time. The VIN number about 6-8 weeks before the build date, and the window sticker about a week before the build date. Hope that helps.

Sisan, looks like you should hybernate the mustang thoughts and wants until after winter.

Ford can barely keep track of the 1st lot of orders due Q4 '15 / Q1 '16 let alone second half of next year.

You will not see any other confirmation of anything until you get a "It's yours" email a few weeks before your build.

I got my "it's yours" email 1st September, I've heard nothing since. The purchase agreement is all you have until much closer to the build date.

I only placed my order in June when tgeh LHD was doing the dealer rounds, so yes I am out to July 2016 at least.

Hey at least I get to see and learn from all the mode you do first....
