110 more HP than a boss?
Right, I was thinking the same thing..

FIXED
I don't know what world people are in but if I can go 12.5 with a boss 302 bone stock trapping 114 mph I sure as hell hope a car with another 82 HP can muster up an 11 second pass.
I agree though the car will be a solid 11 sec. car..

I was being a little bit of an ass exadurating the 110 HP to get my point across. Most of you understood my point. The pill I think has been more correct with his guess of 11.7 at 125. Drag radial mark my words this car will go 10's.

Not at all. There are plenty of coyotes with 480whp, trapping 122-125 going 10.80's on a slick. If the 350 has the trap speed they do stock, why wouldn't it be possible with a tire? My car at 400whp went 115 first time out with it. I think you'll see 480-490whp out of the 350's stock depending on dyno of course but trap speed doesn't lie.

If it is indeed a 125 car you're going to see A LOT of very upset Hellcat etc owners.

I wonder what this thing will do in the 1/4 with a tune and exhaust.

I doubt their is much power to be had with an exhaust system given how loud it already is with the valves open. Also very doubtful of 10s, even on DRs.

If you get someone that can drive the car to its full potential and it traps 122 plus it won't be an issue to run 10's. It's not that hard to grasp. Taking the cats out of it will make a decent gain for sure. We took the cats out of my boss, left stock headers, H pipe and over axles etc on with nothing more than removing cats and working the tune VERY little we went from 400whp to 434whp. That's no intake or anything at all.

I was assuming the thought was that long tubes will make a difference. I do agree that swapping out exhaust behind the cats isn't likely to make much difference.

I think long tubes will make a large difference, more than on a cross plane. I think the stock manifolds on this thing are ugly in form, and lukewarm at best in function.

Read somewhere or heard a YouTube vid where Ford said there is no additional hp available when adding an aftermarket exhaust.

Better take a look at that x pipe. It steps down nicely on the gt350. Their will definitely be nice gains to made. Youre doubtful because you arent a serious drag racer.

The solid rear axle in the '11-14 cars really helped at launch making those 10.8x's much easier. That and a lot of those 10-second Coyotes had weight reduction.

Yea right, Multimatic might have something to say about that. There is a certain oem supplier that had one on a dyno. That motor was well north of 600hp with open headers. 5.2 liters, 12.1 compression, larger valves and less valve shrouding, 310-320 cfm intake ports, CobraJet like cams, huge throttle body and better exhaust scavenging will make more than 526hp. Heck, some are doing that with the 2nd gen Coyote using simple bolt ons.

Your definition of "aftermarket exhaust" is interesting.
