I really do not like the heat extractors on my GT. I think they disrupt those sexy lines of the S550. Would it be a bad idea to do a hood swap? Heat issue??

I personally don't think that there would be a heat issue. After all, don't all European spec GT's have hoods without heat extracts?

I don't like them either  Like a nice "clean" look. I'd be happy without the 5.0 on the side too.

Yea, I honestly think the hood looks so much better without these ugly heat extractors. Why would Ford put them on NA model and not Euro??

Euro-lefty pedestrian safety regulations. What, is it supposed to rip your European Man Purse off your shoulder as you are flying over the hood?

I wish they were bigger like on my 2013 ;)
I love them on the 5th gen, they add well the the aggressive but rough look. The S550 is a different beast, I found the clean look to be best looking - mean but sleek. That's why I think most cosmetic aftermarket parts don't look good on this car, at least nothing out so far. But I'm probably the minority here.
