Got the DST hybrids for now. It makes a lot of sense at this time. I will be upgrading as time moves on. Just wanted that 52lbs of unsprung off my car until the stock tires wear out.

He went with a sweet set of these in a 22x8 squared setup

Sorry, couldn't resist.

He went with these in black:

Lol. Yes in black but they won't be black when I put them on. :D:D

LOL! Those 22s wouldnt suit his Mustang very well :p

But those Hybris are perfect! Staggered or square?
Staggered. Everyone talks bad about the stock PP tires but I put 667 to the rear wheels and push my car through corners hard from time to time and have no issues. Plus the 19's allow me to run a higher sidewall tire for these shitty roads in Hawaii.

Received the wheels tonight.

Advanti Hybris in 19x8.5 and 19x9.5

Front weight 19.49lbs
Rear weight 18.94lbs

So from PP wheels it will be 12 pounds for each front wheel and almost 14 for the rears.

So 52 pounds in total. I should feel that.

Color is black stock however here is the deal. I want a very dark bronze. I will plasti-dip them and get the color I want them to be by experimentation. If I don't get what I want I will peel until I do. If that doesn't work out then I will leave them black.

Well the R wheels are 13 pounds lighter then the GT350's. Can't find the weight of the standard wheels. But I am sure they are 20ish.

But at 12k for one R wheel I am good.

Wow, less then 19lbs for a 19x9.5 wheel! It's amazing how light those wheels are. Hopefully the load rating is up to par.

You'll definitely notice dropping 52lbs off the wheels!
I dropped about 6-8 lbs a wheel on a wheel swap a while ago and it was pretty noticeable. Car feels much more lightfooted/agile and picks up much quicker!

And $12k per wheel for the R wheels?!
$48k for a set? No way.... :eyebulge:

Wheel weight loss translates to wheel horsepower gains on the dyno, right?

Still on the car. Should I have taken it off for something?
