Lund FTW I've had zero drivability issues with mine. The Bama tune on the other hand was jerky my car would fall on its face whenever I would hit it at the track and it would kill my 60ft swapped to Lund and haven't had any issues.

This has been my experience browsing/reading the threads in this subforum as well.

I personally had no issues with Bama though. I went with them for my 2013 and it ran fine and felt fine. I always wondered if I could get more gains from other tuners but never acted on that curiosity until yesterday when I ordered some bolt-ons through beefcake which included a Lund tune. I decided to go with Lund this time around partly due to all the positive feed back and partly due to the issues I was reading Bama had tuning the 2015 auto's via the sct tuners on a different forum.

Once my parts come in, and once I install them, I'll post up a review on all the parts.
Yea. Can't wait to see the results. :)

This sort of like a "what's the best oil/wax/blinker fluid" thread, guaranteed to spark many fires.

Personally I was Bama tuned, and am now using Lund. Bama ran fine, but had some minor issues even after several retunes. Add in the most convoluted retune request process I have seen and I just got frustrated. Lund was one shot and done, happy happy.

My personal experience has been hit or miss. Roughly 8 months ago I started the process of getting a solid pair of street/race tunes with Bama. First batch of tunes lost power, Alex from AM stepped up to the plate to help make it right. He had Paul personally work with me early on to get some gains and even covered the additional dyno time. Then came spring, I had some minor driveability concerns which they addressed, only to find out that the knock sensor had been activating all along. It's been a few months now of back and forth emails, data logging at the track, adding removing parts that could cause additional vibration without a fix. The last set of logs were sent at the beginning of August. Been waiting for a response since. Sent a few reminder emails with follow up phone calls, only to get false promises. To make a long story short... Bama started tuning in January, found the issue through data logs in May, and it's September now. I'll give them a few more days before abandoning them entirely and moving on to Lund or Livernois. Ultimately, I'd like a clean pass at the track this year without knock activity or driveability issues before snowfall. At this point I'd say I've given Bama a fair kick at the can.

You started the process in January, but your gonna give them a few more days? I would have jumped ship long, long ago!!

I chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" patience. If I had paid Livernois or Lund explicitly for the tuning, not just the "free tunes for life" +programmer, it would have been a different story entirely. That said, Alex from AM in the forums here has saved their asses a lot with his ninja like prowess for customer service. If it wasn't for him, these threads would be a shit show for them.

I should also add, not too long after I posted this, I received an updated tune. Not sure if it was co-incidence or not, but, whatever.

Beefcake Lund Tune

Chris (Taneras) my son and I installed Lund tune and JLD CAI packages from Beefcake on our GT's today. He also installed Corsa catbacks. Mine is still stock waiting on my exhaust in a week or so. My first impression is good. Even with factory exhaust. Shifts were precise and crisp. Low end torque and response are improved. WOT is excellent. My car before the tune in Track and Sport mode was jerky. The tune corrected this. As of now I am well pleased. I'm sure Chris will post his take on the mods. A thumbs up for Beefcake Racing. They were easy to deal with.

Thank you for the consideration. Our newest V7 tune is an absolute monster! If you do indeed decide to switch tuners let me know and I will personally take you through the process step by step.

I'm not happy with my Bama tune either. I get bad drivability when the engine is cold. and I think i hear ping on WOT. I use only 93 octane fuel. I think I need to try a different tuner.

My JLT CAI and Bama tune will be here this week. I'm hoping I don't have any of the same issues you guys are talking about. I'll update when it arrives.

We are more than willing to try to help any way that we can. If you think that you want to checkout another tuner that will satisfy your needs and expectations we are here to help. We can go over what you expect and want from your mods and tune. As well as any types of mods that you might see in your future. We have been doing this for a long time and hold WR's in all 3 of the domestic makes with several different models.

that's the great thing about our lund racing ngauge.

if you are having issues, we can datalog and see whats going on with fueling, 02 sensors, and all other paramters.

lots of ways to see whats going on when you have great datalogging capability

Beefcake, Does the SCT not have those capabilities as well?
