He did and it was clear. You either got confused and/or misread/misunderstood. In post 15 it is clear Beefcake is taking about a Lund tune on 2 different devices.

Regardless of any misunderstanding of what Beefcake said, given the fact that OP was comparing tunes from completely different companies, I am not sure how you came to argue that the device was the issue, let alone take the argument as far as you did.
I didn't see that post at the time and was distracted at how beefcake was talking to me. Either way it was miscommunication which I clarified above. But for him as a vendor to bash me after every post I make isn't necessary. I know more than beefcake makes it out to believe.

Exactly, I didn't see anyone else confused other than him...

That was my point about taking the time to read an entire thread, and then giving out proper information based on that thread.

I am not bashing you. I am asking you to not give out technical information that is inaccurate..

Especially when your not going to take the time to read all the information posted.

I have no want or desire to "bash" you. I do have a desire to make sure that proper technical information is provided to members of the forum, some may criticize me for being a little harsh on you, but 99% of the people would rather have the correct information.

All I said was please do not post incorrect tech info. That's not bashing.

I will agree Beefcake's first response to you was a little more terse than it needed to be. Any other terse responses (and there was really only one other one) seemed to be out of frustration due to the same thing being argued even after it was explained again and again. You telling him to think before he speaks (given, in this case, he was the one thinking) probably didn't help either. :)

A simple, hey check out post 15 to answer your question would have worked. But you decided to say stop posting incorrect information blah blah blah and your answer further reinforced my original thought. If I knew you were talking about hyperbox and sct having the same tune none of this would have happened. Either way, how you respond to me isnt appropriate, I'm sure if someone else posted what I did then they would have gotten a much nicer reply.

I do find the title of this thread very misleading. I'm not even a Lund dealer and can tell you there is no comparison between the two companies listed. A simple search will garner you a lot of information. I don't look at it in the point of "records", I look at it as an average of happy customers and number of complaints.

The neat thing about a lot of these tuners like Lund, Livernois, VMP and a couple others is you have the choice to either A. go thru the company you desire that carries them, where they can provide a service specific to each customer or B. Go direct. Many difference "avenues of approach" you can take to get a quality custom tune.
Just to clarify, as I understand it, with Livernois, only option B is available.

It is what it is, I just come on here to share my thoughts and help others and get irritated that Beefcake has to filter my posts after something I said on Facebook a few weeks back.

That is correct.

The reason for the stern reply was over the last few weeks, Ryan has posted incorrect tech info in reference to lund tuning, sct, etc..

I've asked him several times in threads and pm's to refrain from posting the incorrect info and leave it to me, lethal, lund, etc...

So, it does get a bit frustrating

Not to be 'that guy', but your first post was post 16 and it reads like you were replying to a misread post 15...

Whatever. Misunderstandings are a way of life (both on forums and in the real world). I've been caught on the wrong side of them more than once.

It is what it is, I just come on here to share my thoughts and help others and get irritated that Beefcake has to filter my posts after something I said on Facebook a few weeks back.
I kinda got a sense there might be a 'history' between you two.

I think this post should get back on topic of tunes. If you have a problem with someone take it to pm's.
Lund sends out a base tune for your mods, that tune is meant to get your car running to send them logs, it is not recommended to run it until the wheels fall off, but it is also not going to make the car grounded. If anyone has any questions or concerns let me know.

I did it one freaking time and I took it down! Get off my back! You're upset that I was taking away potential sales by directing people to a different company. I took it down within minutes and you still want to follow me around to check on me to make sure im not "stealing" your customers. I am done here.

Question. Is it relevant to flash the car to stock before installing the new revision every time? Or only when the X4 updates tune revisions? Or is it just fine to keep flashing the newer revision.

This car takes a long time to flash compared to other vehicles and returning to stock every time is inconvenient and draining.

if your tune is older than we'll say 4/1 return to stock first

if it's older you will no longer need to return to stock first

I think you mean if it is newer, you will not need to return to stock first?
