I would always double check to make sure the software is up to date. (SCT) If it is, then with swapping tunes, you do not need to return it to stock.

:first:Every customer experience is going to vary person to person. Not all customers are as polite and responsive when they don't get what they want. Terry gave me excellent service as well as the Lund team. Pms and text messages for my every question. I had bama tunes last year for my 14 and they had issues before paul came along. Terry was very open about the x4 issues and hyperbox promotions. Everyone who followed that particular thread was imformed about tunes not being fully ready because this is a new car, and that the autos were also a little more difficult to tune. (from memory)

I bought My lund tune first with no mods, the tune gave a signifacant gain as far as the "buttdyno" goes. Snappy response with the throttle and it was certainly a blast to drive. After putting the Corsa system and Steeda CAI i needed to update that tune. No tuner had a MAF curve or tune ready for this set up, not even STEEDA. Jon Lund took the time to help me get my car dialed in. From tune number one with every revision I felt the car begin to run smoother and smoother. I couldn't believe how fast he responded to my every email, almost as if we were texting back and forth. I'm sure there would have been a house call as well if i wasn't in CA. Terry can see for himself how great Jon treated me. My car is a 6spd so maybe that may have helped, but my experience with them was 100%. I chose them based off of their reputation and other customer reviews and I don't regret it.

I think this post should get back on topic of tunes. If you have a problem with someone take it to pm's.
Lund sends out a base tune for your mods, that tune is meant to get your car running to send them logs, it is not recommended to run it until the wheels fall off, but it is also not going to make the car grounded. If anyone has any questions or concerns let me know.
