PMs have been sent to everyone who has signed up and not yet paid!

These are looking like shipping either Friday or Monday!

We've posted a video above so you can physically see the reduction in throws.

Hey everyone,

I live about 45 minutes from Boomba Racing and after chatting with them, I went and picked up a shifter and tool yesterday. Installed it, which was as easy as the video shows it to be, and all I can say is WOW! It is awesome.

I used to have an S2000, which, to me, is arguably one of the best shifting cars ever made in stock form (at least in my budget). You could literally flick your wrist to shift through the gears. Driving the S550 with this shifter is the closest thing to wrist-flick shifting I have driven since.

Definitely be careful removing the shifter bezel. I ended up breaking some of the plastic welds underneath, even cracking the black plastic ring in one spot. All of this is out of view and super glue fixed it right up.

The only other issue I had was with my Roush shift knob that I had on the original shifter. I basically had to destroy it to get it off. The Roush shift knob is set with blue threadlock and it would not budge until I killed it with channel locks. It would have been nice to know in advance that it was a one-time use knob . Needless to say, I will be picking up the Boomba shift knob when I bring the tool back.

The guys at Boomba have been great to work with, very responsive, and they even gave me the group buy price for the shifter! I definitely recommend!

Tej, looks awesome! Congrats on already getting yours- I'm jealous.
Thanks for the review and details on it- glad to hear positive things about it!
It's a bit late, but a hair dryer or heat gun on the shift knob would have helped break the Loctite...

I'm also a former S2000 owner in search of a shifter as good....haven't found one yet. Can't wait to get this one.
