I agree - no obvious order of build - maybe the UCL first but might be more about what colour of panels they have available and then what time of day it is and then how can we really pi** off people who ordered first but then all the orders went into the system at the same time so who cares?

It seems strange that you can put down a deposit in January and then someone in end Feb gets built in front of you. Doesn't match up to the good old British sense of fair play - it's just not cricket is it :)

It does seem as if we are sliding towards the new year for delivery even for January 15 orders - again, doesn't seem fair.

No doubt someone will have an answer somewhere?
I Spoke to my dealer on Saturday and he was convinced that they are getting built in order of deposit.

Thanks Calv, just got your email :) might print it out & frame it lol.

In response to the order of build vs deposit dates, I know for a fact that my order didn't get to Ford until some time in March despite me sending the paperwork/paying the deposit on 25/02.

Your guess is as good as mine as to what that actually means but potentially someone that ordered after me might be further forward in the line just because of that delay. Nice to see some movement though

I think it's more about assisting us with a price that helps our high tax regime by saving on a few, easy to omit parts.
If that's so, those boys in the Netherlands are lucky to get anything more than wheels, chassis, engine and rope for steering !

Don't think they are. With Jan order date and a Nov build date I asked Pierre at Ford UK why the unusually long delay compared with others also ordering around 24/01/2015. Pierre replied that apparently, my configuration might be just unlucky. So order date isn't the whole story.

I ordered 25.01.2015 and had an email from Andy yesterday saying mine has a scheduled build of 28.09.2015 with delivery to the dealer being 12.12.2015 and yes, I'm under the impression that they are block-building certain specs so if you've picked the wrong one then you might be waiting a little longer.

FYI mine is a manual V8 Fastback which I think is the most popular choice so far which may explain it...

Yep - I ordered the V8 manual fastback too but perhaps the Race Red colour is pushing me in to a late colour run or the custom pack is problematic.

Either way, it's good to know now it won't be here til the new year though so I can put it to the back of my mind although I did find myself browsing Bill Shepherd's website to see whether I might be tempted to get an imported 2015 Shelby...

Fortunately the reality braincell kicked in.

It'll be tough watching others take delivery but on the other hand, the advance information will be valuable too. I've learned a bucket load on here already.

I'm (currently) scheduled to be 2 weeks ahead of you (build 14th sept, eta to dealer, 28th nov).

My spec is convertible manual ecoboost so almost as different as they get, but agree it makes sense for them to group certain builds at the same time - be interesting to see what everyone else has and their respective dates...

My Etis details seem to have updated again, wonder if it's done in the upfitters now.
Wonder what Premium Marketing Trim is.
Tyres did have 255/40R19 275/40R19 which is obviously wrong for a EB, that's updated to just 255/40R19 now. What on earth is Blt/D&P Frt/1&2 Row/D/P Kne

Is it possible, when one of you guys are emailing your new best friend, Andy Barratt, if you could ask him to confirm whether the rhd version has the larger front splitter like the euro lhd and the us pp versions have. Or if it is the smaller base model type splitter that all the pics of rhd's seem to have.
Thanks.

Hey Kristian, when is your build date? My order was three days earlier (and dealer advises it was sent to Ford that day) and so far I have nothing - even Andy doesn't want to speak to me

While you're at it, can somebody please check with [your mate] Andy that the RHD versions get the larger radiator and oil cooler the PP gets?

This is also unconfirmed for RHD cars...because Etis seems to be spitting out 'Standard cooling system' when people have logged into the FordEtis using their VIN.

Cheers
