Finished up installing eibach sport lines and been driving it for couple days now. I used a 12mm spacer on the back raise it up a little so,I would have that rack look. Worked great and happy with the drop. The car defiantly drives smoother and more comfortable. I would say it is way too comfortable. Ride is soft and floats around. This is due to having factory struts and shocks. I liked the factory springs better as far as ride quality. They were sportier and stiffer.

If you guys are looking for a good amount of drop sport lines are good choice. But you will 100% need aftermarket adjustable struts/shocks.

Do you have a base car or a PP car? I've got a PP car, and I love the Sportlines; I think it rides better than stock, and I certainly wouldn't say that the stock springs were stiffer than the Sportlines. The ride feels slightly stiffer at low speed, and definitely firms up at speed or when you push the car. I love mine, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion!

Link to the spacer you used? I'm debating if I want to go that route or not. I think it sits pretty nicely with sportlines on all 4.

Spacers are white lines. P/N: W72045

You can also buy 8MM or 10MM. different part number

The OD is the same as s550 rear but the ID is smaller so you have to make the hole bigger. I used a 3.25" Hole saw to make it bigger. Fits nicely.

THE OD IS 5.5" NOT 5.9". I made a mistake putting down 5.9" in my picture

I've got the Base with Sportlines and I def think it stiffened up the ride. When I would power through the gears the nose would climb and dive like crazy, now it stays pretty level the whole time. I do agree that at slow speeds it is a little soft/floaty, but to me that's not a bad thing.

Just what the Dr. ordered! I did not know such a thing existed. Thanks for posting.

EDIT: Actually, I wonder if this is why you feel that the stiffer aftermarket spring is softer than the stock one.

No is not the spacers. I installed the front springs first and drove for 2'days with them. They feel little soft too me at lower speed. But that could be my alignment.

I also installed camber caster plates and Steeda bump steer kit. Haven't got alignment yet. Lol:doh:

Trying let everything settle.

Today I drove the threw some nice corners and it does get firmer. I don't know, I am actually liking the ride now.

Here is another picture with the spacers installed.

So,took off the spacers because it was sitting too high. I did not use any spacers afterwards. I actually like the drop. The spacer specs are correct and perfect fit!

Little HDR work with my g2

Car looks awesome!

I am going to try some 12mm spacers, would you say 12mm raised the height in the rear by 12mm?
