Anyone know what the Y4Q package includes for brakes?

Edit: never mind. Looks like it's not available on the SS models. Not sure if this has been posted but here's a list of camaro option codes. No pricing here though:

The SS comes with those brakes stock so that why it's not available for the ss'. It also offers a 6pot upgrade but I'm not sure on rotor size. It was discussed a few pages back.

Not sure but I hope it's alot!
The RS are the 5 star, dual spoke wheels, HID, LED, Grill and spoiler... It's what? $1900?

Then they make you pay $800 for the "Track" wheels even though the aluminum 20's are probably 40% of the $1900.

That is a rip off... They are taking you guys hard now because nobody thought $75,000 was too much for a Camaro. It's over now... I don't care about the weight...

The A8 does have limited slip. It is included in the order guides.

The RS package is standard on both SS's... what exactly does RS mean? What do you get?
Back in the day, RS was halo rings with HID headlights, interior trim, wheel upgrade, chrome covered tail lights and red SS tag on the back of the car.

It appears Camaro Nation isn't taking this very well...

Here is what I think happened...

I think the RS Package was a last minute standard addition. It might be that the RS package cost was separated between the 1SS and 2SS. However, because Chevy intends on selling two 2SS's outta every three SS's sold, the cost ratio could be 2SS biased.

For example, the RS package cost $1700 or $1900 per car (can't remember and don't really care to validate pure speculation). If the basement MSRP was $36,505, $800 of that RS option shows up in the 1SS. The 2SS absorbs the rest of the RS package cost with a slightly heftier $2600 increase. Keep in mind, the RS package MSRP's will be higher. Chances are the added RS package cost was around INVOICE. The $2600 could actually be lower, invoice RS Pack could only be $1200, who knows...

I'd like to think think the 2SS's standard RS package cost a 2SS owner about $2000 on top of a $3000 2SS package. While the penalty for the RS at the 1SS level is only about $800.

All speculation and I can't BS with anyone until Monday...

Tires played a huge role in the 1LE's track time. Are you telling me these new good year run flats are better than the tires on the 1LE, while being 40mm smaller? I get its going to have more power and possibly be say 50 lbs less, but people are reaching pretty hard for the justification of this insane price. I guess we'll find out soon lol.
I'm pretty sure at least the Base Camaro will be substantially less than the 1le. A premium 1LE was very porky. I'd wager at least a 100lbs less than a 5g 1LE for a base

Called this pricing a year ago.....but I'm an idiot.

Can't wait to see the glorious 300 pound weight loss oh wait no now it's a backpeddled 200 based on trim/options.

where are all the drones that post on here about your "Killer app" camaro? I want to hear the excuses on the price and justifications lol damn let me go refill my popcorn

GM originally stated at least a 200lbs loss depending on model...the 300lb claim for the V6 was after the original statement. Even if they meet the weight loss, the car is still only as "light" as the Mustang. To me that doesn't justify the price difference...glad I didn't wait till the camaro came out. For weight loss I wouldn't mind an extra grand or two but I got my just about fully loaded GT for the cost of a Base Camaro.

But that's the EXACT claims made on this forum!!! Even the almighy pill said those same words. Feel free to look back a few pages when the mustang guys started that comparison because they felt it was OK based on price. They also said it was because the base model is never the pride of the the pack so who really cares about a base model. Eat it up fan boy..

I am composing info on the LT4 Camaro and have been for a little over 2 weeks.

I will have more info available later this month...

The GT500 is a ghost... I like when future products are well hidden. Using GT350 testing and media as cover :)

Happy hunting fella's!!! New fiscal year is approaching, new budgets being finalized!!!

'waves' Come now Brent, you're a good guy, but don't you remember how you basically said that your c7 was in a total different league than the Mustang. You didn't say the Mustang sucked but, you were trying to convert me (and I almost went there, if it wasn't for that dealer).

This whole car circlejerking/dick wagging/pissing contest is just too much..And Brent, don't you remember what you told me about good ol Pill? For people who listen to Pill for entertainment it's fine by me, but if people actually take what he spouts, as gospel, then they need to get some fresh air. And don't even get me started about his stolen valor schtick (because no wounded veteran would have the time, or effort to act like a 14 year old ranting against a whole corporation)

Called the big price increase as well. But no, the bow tie boneheads were sure a 1SS would come in at 32K.

They are going to have their heads explode when they see a 2SS will set them back $42,000 or more with no additional options.

Can't wait for the weights to come out and watch them use every excuse in the book why it didn't lose 200 pounds across the board.
