Chevy sold a dud just to get headlines. Motortrend should be ashamed of themselves.

Are you thinking that temps will still be an issue with the GT350TP and GT350R?So, larger grill area the problem should be solved right? Wrong... As we have heard from the GT350 drivers on occasion, the GT350 requires good air. Air that is only available if the car is in first and in no traffic. I clearly warned the GT350 would more than likely need to drop the mesh like the Boss did.
I don't think there will be a problem with temps near 300. This article eased my mind on oil temps concern. Are you thinking that temps will still be an issue with the GT350TP and GT350R?
I am also concerned (not due to knowledge of Ford's history specifically, just due to having a high HP engine). I reviewed the long version of the Winding Road GT350 ride along, and found that there was a noticable oil temperature rise. Don't know the temps in Grattan on the day of the actual drive, so not sure how close to the limit things are.
Here is the video:

To me, it looks like the temps started a little under 250, and ended somewhere under 300, maybe 275 or so.
Oil pressure looks to be a little under 100 (maybe 90 or so).
Anyhow, not sure if this means anything at all, but just thought it would a fun topic about which to freak-out.

I believe its because of deleted post by mods or people themselves, it messes up with the page count.Anyone have the issue of clicking on page 84 and it goes back to page 81, which means that there are only 81 pages...
My settings are 40 posts per page.
Yes, performance vehicles, especially at this level, will have extremely hot oil. How long it takes to get that way is another story. The Boss ran hot, GT's ran hot... the GT350 isn't immune to heat stress, just as long as it's not burning the oil the first few laps. Are you thinking that temps will still be an issue with the GT350TP and GT350R?

Bet my '79 Stang is faster than your car!:ford: I've been 8.99 in the quarter......How about you?Says the guy that has a 1979 Mustang!![]()
I appreciate that you're on here with input from the Camaro side and track experience. The 1LE and the z28 are the cars I would get over my 5.0. Especially after they did the refresh in 2014.Says the guy that has a 1979 Mustang!![]()

I don't think Ford will say anything.Time for some performance specs.
