My 5th gen ZL1 had underbelly aero that went from the front splitter right past the cats. The C7 also has some underbelly aero. So it is nothing to be surprised about.
I really don't see what getting into a pissing match is going to accomplish unless you're just bored at work (like I currently am) and thus the reason why there is such an argument going on. At the end of the day this is what each manufacturer has brought to the table. In terms of top tier pony...
And that person was me. I deployed the side curtain airbags and seat belt tensioners at Texas World Speedway going through Turn 7-8. Really weird occurrence since I didn't hit anything nor went off track. However it was a pretty good G load and it was a slick surface. GM replaced those under...
GS nearly 7 seconds faster than a Z51. Goes to show you how important tires and brakes are.
Yes and no. I run NT01's or slicks on my stock suspension C7 Z51 and run WAY faster times than the stock Super Sports.
I suppose I am in the minority but I'll take a GS over a Z06 any day of the week, at least right now. GM has only said they improved cooling on the '17 Z06, not solved the over heat issue completely. Tadge just said they have adjusted some of the bumper and hood nothing concrete on an...
haha, nah. I'm a die hard track enthusiast. I seriously considered a GT350 TP but ultimately the C7 won out. Probably because I rode is several of my friends C7's on the track and never had the opportunity to be in a GT350 or 350R during hot laps.
The C7 is a pretty amazing car, I wish I had personal experience with the GT350 and/or GT350R because I also love that car, and I'm sure it is an absolute blast to drive on the track.
With that being said, I had a 2013 Camaro ZL1, modified with suspension, 305 square tire set up, huge front...
Every track event that I've been to that has had a C7 Z06 (manual or auto) has had over heating problems. The trans is quick to over heat getting a manual helps eliminate that problem. However the engine will still go into limp mode.
Paying at or around MSRP for a used vehicle seems a bit ridiculous to me. Especially a performance vehicle with $7k miles on it. I'd just wait for a '17 or save up a little to order exactly what you want.
Fantastic looking car and good to see that you're enjoying it. Can't believe the db limit issue at LS, yet another problem with California. I guess technically some of the tracks down here in Texas have sound level limits but I have never seen them check or enforced. There are so many spec...
The GT350R may hold this spot for a while. If the corvette is any indication on what they're going to do with the Camaro then they will merge the ZL1 and Z/28 with the LT4 engine which is garbage for the road course. When I was at Texas World Speedway two weeks ago for a track event, the guy...
The yellow SS that was at ADM came down to Houston yesterday. It is apart of the #findnewroads campaign that Chevy is doing. The driver is moderator "Mindz" from C5. The NPP exhaust sounds really good, I'm impressed. Here are some shots at NASA.
Very awesome indeed and great review from Road & Track. Surprised it beat out the Viper ACR, especially after last weeks news of it setting 13 new production car lap records at 13 different tracks. Just goes to show how badass the GT350R is.
Interesting. Although the 1LE did the Streets of Willow in 1:22.70, Shelby GT500 1:23.48 and Boss 302 LS 1:26.10. All faster than the Toyota's 1:27.
