Totally random, but I am very curious... after owning your S550 of any version (GT, ECO, V6) would you rather stick with the S550 or take an 03/04 Cobra or an S197???

Reason I ask is because I personally have had all 3 now... and to be honest. I miss the 04 Cobra the absolute most..

Let it rip!

If I wasn't getting this car as a daily driver, I would have another 04 Cobra in a heartbeat.

This is my first Mustang and have never really been a fan of Mustangs past the 60s, so I would definitely keep my S550.

The cobra is and always will be an amazing legendary car, but Its age shows these days. I had an 04 lightly modded cobra and loved it. But comparing it to the 15 GT PP isnt even fair in any aspect its simply not in the same league. Even my 2011 was a better all around car and just as fast. The only things I miss about the cobra are the sound, cable clutch, and the exclusivity of having a cobra.

Easy call for me; S550 hands down. My 04, while fun, is still a hay wagon compared to this generation in all regards. Not to mention the fact that Ford has made the same factory power with the NA coyote platform.

I appreciate all of them for sure. I have an Eco right now and I love it, but I'm also missing v8 and possibly with twin screw. I'll be getting my Eco tuned soon and hopefully it will give me the full joys of some more power and great daily drivability. The 04 cobra was so raw... The only thing I completely hated about it, was the shifter....it couldnt have been in a worse spot for comfort....

Id say the supercharged 04 cobra..but the idea senario for me would be an older gentleman approaching me to ask if I would be interested in trading for his 2013 gt500..with some cash on top of my S550 of course:D ...That car has to be one of the best ever sold to public.

The Cobra is a great motor trapped in a 21 year old chassis with a 21 year old interior design. S550 All day here.

Yea no doubt, the interior is kinda terrible and the chassis was tired by that year... That's why I didn't list the sn95 entirely because other than the Mach 1 and cobra I couldn't see anyone wanting to choose anything else....

I had a 2003 mach 1 that wasn't bad either, but at 300 hp from a v8 and now my Eco makes that, it's clear how far technology has come

I love '03-'04 Cobras, but no I'd never trade my S550 for one, for all the reasons already posted. The only S197 I'd consider is a '13-'14 GT500, which I almost opted for before getting this car.

I loved my 03 10th Anniversary Cobra. It will always have a special place in my heart. I loved the 4.6 SC motor in those cars.

My '15 GTPP is my favorite Mustang of the 11 I have owned. Hands down, no question. Especially now with all my Steeda parts. The suspension is perfect for a street car.

I currently have all 3 in my shop. I put my terminator up for sale on here and the buyer didn't have his finances in order. Anyway, I still have for the time being, a terminator, 14 GT500, and a 2015 GT. if I had to choose just one......probably the Shelby, but I really like all three cars.

The refinement of the S550 is impossible to beat with any SN95 or S197. That being the case, my EB is hands down the best Mustang out of the box that I have owned taking all things into consideration.

That doesn't mean I would't grab a "lowly" 5.0 notch, 98 Chrome Yellow Cobra Conv., or Redfire Termi and have it as a flogging sled..I absolutely would, and just might.

Parts of me miss the cruddy interiors and archaic suspensions of the past- those cars, when belted up, were visceral machines. Looking at the S550 in the driveway and sitting inside the best interior yet takes the pain away.

I had an 04 that I sold to buy my 15. I loved my cobra, and it looked great, but it was starting to nickel and dime me. It felt faster, I guess due to being more rough around the edges. After having a 2015, I couldn't go back to an 04 unless it was a 2.2kb'd weekend cruiser.
