Stereo base 4.3" head unit upgrade: Ideas? Plans?***

That Raxiom info came from the Raxiom facebook page. I asked specifically when it was coming out and they said summer this year that it was in testing. American Muscle also said the same thing. I didn't get my hopes up because ETA's from manufacturers are about as useful as a spoon if you were asked to empty the ocean.

Well this ebay unit definitely follows raxiom's design for mustang navigation. They lay a screen on top of the OEM board to bring the price down. Would be very interested in seeing Raxiom's UI for this system and how it works. I would expect their system to be sold on AM for around $600.

The thing I would really like to see is a video of it in action. Just a simple bootup and quick tour of the system. The only thing that worries me is that Chinese sellers on ebay have a habit of trying to sell vaporware products. Those pictures could be just from a prototype and not a full production unit. That is why I was asking about an estimated delivery date. Keep up with them and request accurate tracking info when it ships.

Awesome! And yea the calipers will come in handy If the toggles are removable. Also when get the bezel, plug it up to the car. I am curious to see if the climate controls/toggles work with a base PCM/BCM.

I checked the part numbers on a lot of the audio stuff. It all seems to be the same except the screen. I am hoping the wiring will all be the same and certain features will just be disabled in CAN

I think the s550 will have much more options as far as aftermarket infotainment systems go since it's a global car. I'm sure interesting options from the European and Asian markets will come out.
