Bench racing...No bueno.

A stage 2 STi is quicker than a GT in the qtr mile...They usually run 12.5
We have had more then a few members here running 12.4-12.5 on their stock A6 and PP GT's. thought I would share that. If you can drive and have good air, you can run a mid 12 stone stock:D

330 is too high for a stage 2. Unless you are using a dyno Jet that reads high. Even with a E85 the newer v48 turbos dyno 250-280whp on a mustang dyno.
330whp can be made on dynamic or mustang dynos with 93. 360s on e85. My currently 07 sti does. It was 93 then switched to e85. Its been tuned at Bren Tuning. Been using him for the past 9 years for my sti's.

^ Point of correction...in the first video, that A6 has an intake and tune....So that does not count for comparisons.

There are about 5 people here on the forum that has posted their stock runs and timeslips in the timeslip thread that were in the 12.4x-12.5x-12.6x. They are ran in decent air.

OP for what it's worth I've driven tuned 335s and they make great power and can be easily faster than a tuned GT. However, they feel executive and not nearly as sporty as the GT.
Based on my knowledge, I feel like the N55 F30 motor doesn't produce that much power with stage 2.

Does a GT handle better than a F30 335i?

Reading all the posts make me want to trade in my car now.

FBO n54/n55 are no joke.

That said, got rid of my 135i though - was an '08 and it had a leaky ac evaporator which was about $1000 labor to replace. Was just waiting for the water pump to go and leave me stranded. was due for intake valve cleaning. Just too expensive to maintain.

I could tell you things about your motor that would make you cry. Im a bmw master tech. Run and never look back at bmw.
n54 too?

Aside the carbon build up which is DI related, what? That engine is almost bomb proof, I thought.

It isnt just the motor that i was reffering to, its the whole damn car. Its bmw as a whole. The things i could tell you would make you swear off bmws as a whole. Ive worked at three different brand dealers as a master tech. i also have friends that are techs, some of them master techs, some not. Ive never heard or seen unreliability on the scale that european cars have. its landslide unreliability.
