So, I have a grudge race coming up.
My car, '16 PP, E85 FF lund (30* timing
Wot), solo mach thunder CB (3"), and useless JLT CAI.
I'd guess I'm around 420w, idk, it hasn't seen a dyno, but I owned a 400w 01 bullitt and this is def faster.

His car, 03 coBRO, 2.81, o/r x, CB, cai, 441/441.

I raced him with my 03 coBRO, 2.9. 4lb, full exhaust, e85, killer chiller, cai, 500/525 and I absolutely devistated him... like it wasn't even funny... but this s550 is no comparison to what my cobra was. The cobra was maybe a hair lighter with easily 120 ftlbs on my s550.

Also note, his is a heavy vert.

He has 305 r888 and I'm on the garbage pzeros.
I've negotiated to 40 rolls... where my car is good. As long as it's 60*+ on only slightly spin when shifting 2nd and 3rd, obviously blow 1st so bad it white smokes, but it won't spin on the hit.
It's best out of 5 rolls. My strategy is consecutively make the hits, because that thing will start heat soaking by the end of the 2nd roll if it's warm out and he has no cooling mods. Kid is a goon and a pretty extreme A Hole, so I'll play hardball, it's my race so I made the conditions lol.

Well if he has to run 5 times that Heaton will be ridiculously heat soaked, so your plan is sound.

Run at the track, like a responsible adult, only then will it actually matter. Anyone can roll race.
There is a whole thread about roll racing at the track, you should go hang out there.

I agree roll racing is a joke. I have no idea why anyone does that unless they see a car on the hiway. Otherwise it's lame. Everyone knows that drag racing is all at the starting line.

Oh brother. I appreciate your guys opinion on track vs. Street and I can agree on most counts, but I don't drag race, I do road course, and when it's a grudge race, it's hway at 3am like 90% of everyone else. I understand your opinion and concern, but I'd really like your opinions on my questions asked.

I don't want to open a whole track vs street debate. Either way, it's going down, regardless of opinions. Sorry to be bkunt, but I've been doing this for 15yrs, does it make it right, no.. absolutely not, but we have a section of hway that is rarely traveled after 1am, and I'd NEVER put others lIves in danger for the benefit of a personal race, that's madness. So rest assured, we do this a responsibly as we physically can, as messed up as that sounds. We've all done it.

Simply racing on the street puts your opponent in more danger than when done at the track. So to say you never put lives in danger is just ignorance and an attempt at justifying your wrong.

As for your questions, go race and find out. No need to ask people when you're already going to street race. Bench racing is lame.

There will probably be a national NHRA roll racing event announced any day now.:D
