I'm having same issues with mine. I haven't taken it to the track but it's done it a few times on the street. Trac control and Advance Trac off in Track mode. It's like it looses all power and then suddenly comes back. I have the ecoboost boost gauge in mine and will try to repeat it later to see if boost falls off... It's pretty aggravating and have contemplated just putting a Lund tune on it to get rid of all it. But.... There goes my warranty if I do so:/

Sub'd as well....
Yup, certainly sounds like throttle.

I also have the ecoboost gauge. I didn't notice a drop in boost when the power loss occurred. I have a mechanical gauge I wanted to try since I'm told the ecoboost gauge doesn't actually read manifold pressure.

More interestingly though...

This morning before I posted this I called the FRPP tech line. Tonight around 5:30 I get a call from them and they tell me that they were able reproduce the problem with their test car. The assured me that it isn't a problem with the tune, and the issue is because I don't know how to fully turn off the traction control.... They are telling me that I need to disable the advancetrack, and then turn off the traction control. The tech was telling me that there are two toggle switches on the premium model (which is their test car) One turns off the advancetrack, and the other turns off the the traction control. I have a non-premium model so in only have the traction control button. I explained that to the best of my knowledge if I press it once traction control is off. If it tap it twice, it goes into sport mode. If I hold it down it turns off advancetrack. From my conversation tonight with the tech he said the problem was there when they tested their test car with the traction control off, and also there when they tested it with just the advancetrack off. He told me though when they turned off both the traction control and the advnacetrack the issue completely went away. If there is a way to turn both the traction and the advance track off, I'm not aware.

I started a thread about that a week or two ago... about how the torque induced rear steering is making my advancetrac pull power going in and out. It would rarely give me full power, but when I started turning it off, it was all there.

I've got the premium and when I go into Track mode it turns off Trac Control. Then I hold up on the Trac control toggle for about 10 sec or so and it turns off Advance Trac. Mine still did it with BOTH Trac control and advance Trac off. So Idk.....

I've heard it has something to do with "clutch protection" causing our issue....

Put a boost gauge on temporarily and see if the boost goes away for a few moments. More than likely it is pulling the throttle back... I saw similar issues before.

IAT on the dash is not IAT2 (manifold, post IC), its the temp sensor in the MAF in the airbox.
Do they not intercept the temp sensor wire in the MAF and connect it to a downstream IAT sensor? Not sure on the Roush stuff. I know we do on KB. So the dash shows IAT2 temps.

One quick way to test this is to pull fuse 62 under the hood. It completely disables ABS, advancetrac, and traction control. This is how we figured out that you couldn't run more than 1/2" in tire size difference between front to back. lol

Turning advancetrac off should turn the traction control off as well as MOST of the advancetrac. It doesn't kill it completely, though. The only way to do that is to yank the fuse up front (62).

What happened if they were more than 1/2" off? What about all those drag setups... They all pulling fuse 62?

It engages the rear brakes randomly. What's funny is that we didn't have a problem on our manual shop car, but our customer's auto did.
I assume that when the fuse is pulled it illuminates the ABS and tractions control lights on the dash is this correct?

Okay... So I spoke with FRPP Tech Support this morning again about this. I have informed them of pretty much everything that has been talked about in this thread so far. They are telling me that they are not aware of any of these issues and that I'm the first person to report these kinds of problems. It seems to me like this issue is affecting several other people with this kit, so if a phone call hasn't been made to FRPP Tech Support yet, perhaps one needs to be made. Right now I'm told engineering is looking at the tune that they're providing but it is not a priority right now since I'm the only person having issues with it.

What was the solution for this? I have an auto and my rear tires are .8" taller than my front and I have a slight suspicion that I am having this problem...

I run a 275/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear, more than half inch, and no issues.
