Whippled Auto Dyno

Finally was able to get my car on the dyno today. In 100 Degree Texas Weather the car made 642HP/501TRQ @12# of boost on whipple's cal. Engine Mods are Whipple 2.9, Whipple Throttle Body & Dual Fans, BAB, 3.625 Pulley (Step Down), Stainless Works Performance connect long tubes no cats with Corsa Extreme Catback, lost 1# of boost after the exhaust (Sick Combo BTW ). Car ran 11.79 @124.58 on stock tires before the exhaust. Suspension mods done are BMR Poly Diff & Cradle Bushing & Eibach Sportlines.

Very nice. On stock rubber, those times! I sure that car is bloody hell on the streets. Auto at those leves ? I like the setup look of your car as well.

Chad, great numbers you got. I couldn't get mine above 7100 rpm because of rev limiter.

Would love to hear your launch sequence you used. TC on or off. Car in track mode. Drive in "S" or "D".

I am hoping for 1/4 mile times similar to yours.

Mine went up to 7,200. Maybe Whipple can chime in on it. Maybe has to do with the conditions the computer is reading at that moment, such as lean condition ect.

How are the street manners of the car? Idle surges or shifting issues? I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a Whipple but thinking only 8 PSI boost as I will not track it. With what you have (which is fantastic by the way) how does it hook up?

Chad, did send an email to Whipple and Dustin Whipple is looking into the issue about rpm. You would probably get an additional 20 HP for the 200 rpm increase. I will submit any info I recieve.

Overall I am very happy with the power and that we are still able to drive the car on the streets like it was stock.
