I bought a 2015 Premium GT with the 50 yr package. I thought all premium have illuminated door sills but the dealer states that this feature is deleted with the 50 yr package?

Is that consistent with everybody here on the forum?

That's normal for 50 year AP and LE.

You can buy them from Ford and put them in or have them put in. The 50th package has special sill plates so you will want to keep them somewhere if you change them. I had the dealer switch mine out and it took about an hour to do. They go well with the pony puddle light.

Seems like Ford should have made the 50th AP door sills also light up ... missed the boat on that one IMO.

^agreed. And there are a ton of people that aren't very familiar with the forum interface we use, I think it's called vBulletin. The search feature in this interface might seem a little confusing at first. Idk.

Personally don't really care about sills - whether they're lighted or not. Bought the car to drive.

Search function on this forum (and others powered by vb purely sucks). Whenever I want to find something here (a thread that I've seen before and want to go read it) I just use google.

Order same package and the sills aren't illuminated. I wish but no.
