Does anyone know what the oil temperature range is supposed to be on the 2015 GT? Looking to order a gauge and want to know what range of temp to order to monitor it.

Engine Oil Temperature

The engine oil temperature gauge is a graphical gauge with an additional numeric display that is selected through the message center. For the virtual gauge display navigation, see the message center menu options in the Owner's Literature. The engine oil temperature gauge display ranges as follows:

38-60° C (100-140° F) (low)
61-137° C (141-279° F) (normal)
138-146° C (280-295° F) (warm)
147-160° C (296-320° F) (hot)

So, I checked my menu settings in the message center, and I have the graphical faux-gauge in my info center. I don't see a numeric display that I can select. Is it able to be switched to a numeric display? Or am I misreading this?

The gauge is the display in the center stack, green is good, yellow is your getting hot and red is bad. I've never gotten into yellow, approached it.

Right, I've got that, but it says a numerics display in that post. Trying to figure out if there's a number it will also/or display. I'm guessing not. Mine stays dead center in green or just a tick cooler. Wonder what range that is

How do you get to this? I dont think I have any additional options when looking at the oil temp guage

You are over thinking this. Temps won't be displayed, just colors. Those temps are merely which numbers correspond to which colors.

To try and add something more useful, mire reads 220deg at just a hair past middle of the green.

How did you determine that temperature? I'm only asking because I'm either replacing my oil pressure center gauge with either a pressure or a temp gauge when I put my mechanical boost gauge in the other opening. I don't want to order a mechanical oil temp gauge if the needle stays stuck to the far left all the time lol. That would be fairly useless.

If you goto the guage detail screen and hit the right arrow over oil temp (usually reads low or normal) you can see a physical gauge that has colors but no numbers. The needle does move realistically though, Ive watched it as the car heated up. The car has a deep oil pan, alot of oil, and an oil cooler so the oil temp should be fairly consistent.

The owners manual gives you the temperature ranges for the different colors on the guage

Where in the Owner's Manual does it explain the temp. ranges for the various colors of the oil. temp. gauge? I could not find it.
