Hi all,

Does anyone have a recommendation for mounting the accessport on the dash?

While a long OBDII cable is nice, it's not nice for a streamlined appearance.

Pictures are helpful!

I put mine to the left of the MFT, ran the wire under the carpet and then it just kind of hangs down there and hides quite well when not in use. This FL heat always makes the mount fall because the adhesive gets too hot and melts

You can get a GPS suction cup and mount it to the window by the A-pillar, the pivot ball is the same size I found. Extra cable gets hidden in whatever trim panel has room.

remove the tape on the mount from Cobb
Add some 3m double sided tape plus clean the area on the dash and mount with an alcohol pad + adhesion promoter
won't fall again;)

Thanks! I got some of that stuff laying around so I'll make a cutout of it to match the shape and stick that sucker on there

I'm planning to use this Scosche Mount I have for my phone. It came with two adhesive plates. Got it at Wal-Mart for about $20.

Looks great but WWWAAAYYY overpriced. $30 would be to much.

Yeah 65 bucks is a little much, but I do love that mount.

So is it bad that I paid 93 buck for the mount and wiring harness to hard mount my radar detector to the rear view mirror
I paid $60 for a mirror mount and $12 for a wire tap to tap into the mirror power wire.

So you're in the ballpark.
