I'll see if I can't get out a little early tomorrow and try to help out. The drivers side should be a breeze, especially with an extra set of hands.

Definitely man. I'll be around for a bit. Also I went with BBK and a custom 3" midpipe. They're not too bad since I'm building on a budget over here. If you have the funds I've seen much better reviews from Kooks and stainless works 1 7/8" headers.
Theyre definitely nice pieces, that's for sure! And hopefully I'm done before you even get there :) But at the least you'll get to see the finish product and hear it. Might be a bit overpowering with the noise, not sure how loud this setup is going to be. My neighbors are going to hate me!
Also, really wanted to document more of the install. But I was a bloody mess greasy mess and didnt think to play with the phone too much. This is right before after I torqued the header down. Victory!

It's going to be pretty loud once you're done compared to the stock manifolds for sure. Also, on the driver side I was able to finish that side without removing the motor mount. Just took the plate off and moved the steering shaft. So give that a shot. Should save you some time.

I don't plan on taking out the entire mount, just the bracket attached too the engine. Is that what your mean by plate?

Shouldve stopped by our place in Dunn! We've already done ALOT of headers for the 15:)
I like getting my hands dirty, plus header installs are pretty costly.

Done! I'll try and post pics and vids tonight. She sounds deeper down low, a little louder but not as bad as I thought it'd be. The cats I'm sure definitely calm it down.

Ok, a couple of teaser video's for the time being. The exhaust has a very deep tone in the lower rpms, it was rattling the change in my cupholder. Windows were up in both video's and phone was face down in the passenger seat.

Low RPM shifting

WOT + Changing gears

I'll try to get a walk around tomorrow, a fly by and some better clips for you guys. But here's what I got for now.

You doing the install yourself? If so I'll try and give you all the tips and tricks I know of. The worst part about the job was the passenger side motor mount. I tried attacking it from the bottom of the car, I guess you can get the nuts from the engine bay. Didn't even think to look.

It's louder and a little deeper, but not overwhelming. I'm sure the off/road version would scream with the cat-back I have. There's not much to their competition series mufflers. I was kind of worried about how loud it would be with that cat-back, but I shouldn't get bitched at too much for these in my neighborhood.

Thanks, I would hate to buy them and not notice much difference than stock lol. I plan to have a corsa catback though.

The car is going to a local shop here in Los Angeles since it will be dyno tuned as soon as the install is completed.

Besides, I'm sure I'm not as mechanicallly talented as you guys on here and have no room in our condo complex. Kudos to tackling this yourself.

I do envy the wrenching skills!

Enjoy it...windows down, it must sound aggressive and pissed off at WOT!
