South Florida heat is really putting a damper on my performance. During nov-feb while temps were down performance was awesome and now that it's always 90s it's been sucking a bit. I ve been considering getting an intercooler but I can't imagine anything more than a slight improvement. Has anyone put an intercooler on in the south and noticed a significant decrease in heat soak?

I live in the South and the temps here have been in the mid-upper 90s for the last couple of weeks. It makes a huge difference in the car's performance, throttle response, etc.

The Levels Performance unit is built here in Florida. I have one on my Eco and it's been tested, dyno... Street and track.

I'd recommend water/meth to cool your intake charge. Just a thought OP.

would highly recommend it. I currently live on west texas where we have been around 100 degrees already, and really affects performance.

Excellent!! Ford must have put the crapiest intercooler they could find in these cars. One hard pull and you are heat soaked.

I can see small measurement variances between the different brands of intercoolers. Are there any real differences between them?

+1

Why not just buy the least expensive? So many graphs and nothing stands out.
Which will heat soak the slowest??
