It's funny...all these assumptions and nobody even has it installed yet. If u don't want to buy the intake ...then dont..I personally bought it because It makes gains without tune and didn't think the price was bad at all

Guys be patient. Myself and someone else had damaged intakes due to shipping but I received my new one today and it looks like they redesigned the stems to be stronger! Everything is install and all looks green. Headed out on my maiden voyage!

with all the holdups i've had waiting for other parts (shocks, plates, springs, diff), i was excited to finally put something functional on, and had to vent

To those that said based on the dyno graphs you won't feel the power until later....lol you can tell yourself that.

The power seems to come on more instant and smoother. Just touching the gas you can hear this thing shoveling air in. The increased power is definitely there. It even sounds more aggressive. Just did a short drive I'll do a better write up soon.

You're probably just confused because it sounds so much better.

It's hard to really say without data to back up what you're saying. However, the fact that you like the way it feels/sounds is proof enough that they did a good job and it's worth getting.

Are you planning on getting it tuned as well? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the feel after a tune. My guess is the reaction will be :eyebulge:

Trust me it's not just sound. I never said it's gobs of power. The power is just more instant and smooth. It feels like a ton less wind up. It in general makes the car feel more vicious and yes as the RPMs build you feel that new strength.

I even put it back to stock before I left for work because I need to update the maf program and I wanted to compare if the gains are truly felt and they are.

I'm sure Tim will be solid proof on gains when he hits a track with it.

As an update please be patient with PMAS. Nick is doing everything to make things right. If your order hasn't shipped or it was pulled back it was for good reason. Some growing pains have surfaced but they are instantly being addressed and rectified.

it looks as if the stems on the tube have been reinforced and one made more flexible to reduce stress. (Fixed)

Also the programming for the maf needed tweaking to alleviate a IAT reading in the negatives. (Fixed)

The bracket was drilled incorrectly.(Fixed)

More protection added for shipping also.

All these have been addressed it seems and Nick is tossing money to make things right and make sure those of us with problems get replacements next day. A company giving this much effort to make things right is A+ in my book.

If you guys actually looked at the graph you could roughly estimate/see that you gain almost a consistent 10 ft/lbs of torque throughout the entire rev range and in some spots the gains double, so the car feeling smoother and more responsive should surprise anyone,

The graph will never represent the full experience since it's always done at full throttle. Partial throttle gains might be more pronounced than full throttle but you'll not see those on the graph...

And also the car is standing still when dynoed. When you drive you drive into the air mass causing it to flow toward your car/engine, so of course there should be more response on the road than sitting still.

So this came in a few moments ago. It has already been thoroughly inspected by my over critical and OCD QC Inspector It was given approval to install on Sally.







Side Note: For those that think this product is "Too Rich For Your Blood" compared to other units on the market....um yea, JSTFU. The ignorance is strong on this forum. I used to sell Pro-M 77's in the early 90's, perhaps before many of you were born and they sold for $495.00. The amount of content in this kit adjusted for today's dollar it should be selling for $700.00.
