The higher the boost...
...the SHORTER the engine life. Those guys who crank up the boost will fry those motors well before normal engine lifespan. I would not be surprised if the some of those guys blow their motors up before 30K miles.
I assume the average ECO driver chose that model because he was on a tight budget. Imagine his budget when he needs a major rebuild. Add a blower with 6 to 8 psi to a 4.6L or 5.0L....and your motor will LAST. You will also beat 4 bangers running high boost levels.
