Been a while since I updated my build thread so I thought I would show the few minor additions I have done. I painted my calipers red and put some caliper decals on them. Currently waiting on the rear calipers to dry thats why I don't have pics of them yet.

And I installed my Lethal Grille delete and then decided to paint the radiator black.

.....Warning about painting the radiator....
The paint will probably act as an insulator and reduce the aluminum fins ability to dissipate heat, very much like an air conditioning coil getting caked with dirt and requiring cleaning to restore its efficiency.

Interesting..I did not know this. I didn't go heavy on the paint so I am hoping it won't hamper it too much. I followed the infinite wisdom of Lethal Performance by spray painting it. If it does in fact hamper the aluminum fins, how would you recommend cleaning it off?

Actually I thought about it, what you painted was your A/C condenser so you might see some degraded performance there but your radiator is behind that so you should be fine there.

To clean off your probably gonna have to use some acetone or similar chemical paint remover and have to be very careful about what it gets on, it's not a friend to rubber or obviously paint.

I don't think it should pose a problem, I think I should be good. I guess we will see.

Nice build btw, I've got your brother.. The wife isn't into letting me do the grill delete but she had no problem with me adding the Roush scoop, tail and finally supercharger.

Love the caliper paint! Great idea for those of us that do not have a PP. What brand did you use and did you totally remove the calipers when you painted them? Where did you find the caliper decals?

Keep up the good work!

Thanks man! I used Duplicolor caliper paint kit. It comes with the caliper cleaner and the paint, with a brush, so no spray. I left all the calipers on the car and painted it like that. I did this before with my 2005 GT. I got the decals off eBay for a couple bucks.

I did two coats, 15-20 minutes between coats. 4-6 hours before I put the wheels back on. Here is the decal I put on the rear calipers.

Thanks. I am planning on doing a blower, probably Whipple but not any time soon. What blower do you have? My immediate mod plans are a chin spoiler, rear spoiler and suspension parts.

Actually NOT! When I raced 2-stroke karts, they had aluminum cooling fins. I kept blowing motors due to the lean setup (we had temp gauges on them). My engineer dad sprayed flat black stove paint on the fins. Engine ran 20degrees cooler, enough to stop blowing engines.
