Just had it installed and test drove it around town and on the highway. Sounds OK, but when you get on it –*it's all farty loud and the power is not there. I'd guess 10-20% loss of power over stock. I thought it was a back pressure issue from a leak or something, but nope, it's just how it is.

No dyno or anything, but it's totally obvious to me. I guess that's what I get for going cheap on the exhaust.

Am I the only one? Everyone seems so happy...

Id check to make sure you installed correctly. I disagree with all of what you posted.

Wow! I absolutely love mine. The sound is perfect and NO loss of power whatsoever. I got the stainless street version... This is the first negative comment on this exhaust that i have seen.

Yeah no complaints with mine either. It is a bit raspy at wot but other than that I don't see how you can lose power from a catback?

Generally speaking when you have a loud exhaust it sounds like you are pressing the throttle harder than you actually are. Your brain correlates the exhaust note to speed but because you aren't actually pressing the throttle as hard as before you feel the car is going slower.

Thanks guys, I'm going to have another shop look at it. Any specific place I should have them look at?

I had to put about 10 to 20 miles on mine after the Gibson exhaust to let the computer adjust.

Dude. It's gonna be a deep mspuscley tone as it's an h pipe. If you didn't want deep (farty) tone shoulda gone with xpipe. Or corsa double x pipe.

There is no way to lose power on a cat back exhaust. I agree with the person that said it is mental, it is louder so you think you should be faster. It is a H pipe so the tone is lower and more throaty but i have never heard it as farty. I have had mine for a week now and to me it made the car the muscle car it should be.

First negative comment hope it's just something not done right because for me I'm on the fence between Borla Atak and the street MBRP
