Anyone have or heard an MBRP Street with the mufflers removed? I like the sound of the Street, but it's just too quiet. I'm thinking of removing the mufflers and having them straight piped. I don't have any drone yet, and certainly wouldn't want it added if I were to take the mufflers out. Thanks.

It'll drone and be very, very loud with just an H-pipe and the rest straight through. MBRP's midpipes don't run to the same spots as most systems, so it'd be hard to add a different axleback without it being a fab job.

You could put in-line resonators in place of the mufflers. That would make it a good deal louder, but minimize drone (will probably still have a little) and cut rasp.

If you're going the fab route to weld a straight pipe there, might as well weld on a decent muffler. I particularly like the gt500 H pipe setup....you can weld the gt500 mufflers onto the MBRP pipes plus some hooks.

So no mufflers, but a pair of single resonators in their places? I have no drone at the moment. Some say the MBRP has drone, but I've never heard it on mine. I just want louder without drone.

Cut off mufflers and weld in two dynomax mini race bullets. Will be louder but won't drone or not enough that you will notice much.

MBRP Street is known to be raspy & the Race version is Drone City.
