I'm going bald at 6k, so I'm ordering another set of stock rubber to hold me over until the four wear out at the same time, then I'll be springing for a wheel and tire package. I didn't realize how quickly these tires wear despite me trying line lock all of once and doing my occasional brief, low speed slide.

At this rate, all of my planned mod money is going to be spent at Tire Rack. :help: I clearly need to be a little more conservative with my right foot, but I CAN'T. The fun is too real, but I'm going to try and make this next set last to at least another 10k.

So I'm curious to see how we're driving our cars on this board. How are you all fairing thus far?

These P-Zeros are rated at 220 UTQG. Wondering if a set of PSSs, rated at 300 UTQG, will fair much better given the same driving behavior. I know that UTQG ratings aren't definitive guidelines...

Any idea how the A/S tires are wearing? Any difference between 18's and 19's?

Why stick with the same stock rubber if it wears out so fast? I would go with the PSS as an alternative.

I hate the stock Pirelli's, don't know how anyone gets over 10k miles out of these...

I am right at 4500 miles and I still have over 50% tread left.

The MPSS will wear much, much better compared to the Pirelli's.

Wow! Have you tracked it on the Pirellis? I have 5300ish, never used Line Lock. Launched is a couple of times, but I still have what looks to be about half the tread left.

Edit, I just checked and I have appx 5/32 left at 5300

Dont dealerships usually just throw on the softest tires. Usually takes an upgrade to get something decent. But is scary to hear that 6K is the life of these tires for some people

They are driving the car hard/aggressive (nothing wrong with that, I do it too :) ) and the tires are very, very soft. You can easily stick your fingernail in the rubber of these when they have any amount of temp in them.

It seems like the summer tires dont last long at all. The all seasons on my S197 lasted a decent amount of time, and from what I can tell they're holding up the S550 too. But now I'm curious to take a closer look at them later today when i'm home.

Would you consider Falken tyres as a replacement. They are much cheaper than the other brands over here in the UK and I'm on my second set on my BMW and I can't fault them, rain or shine, cold or hot.

Very confidence inspiring in shitty conditions although the ones that fit the GT PP are summer only.

One autocross day and just did a week long trip to NC with daily driving on the Dragon, Cherahola, and Blueridge. So yeah, worked em a bit, but enjoyed every minute.

My 18in P-Zero All Season Plus measure 10/32 in the front (original depth) and 9/32 in the rear after 7100mi. UTQG 500.
Ditto, including the measurements with a slightly higher mileage of 7500 miles. I've only had experience with P-Zero all seasons my last 2 Mustangs. In daily driver mode, I got 40,000 miles before replacing.
