Pic or it didn't happen...
I not only had it sprayed on a sample I painted my Hummer H2 Avalanche Grey ..has no pearl and is beautiful...Mine has a lite Blue hue to it..I love itWell, go down to your local SW Automotive shop, have them spray out a sample and check it out. I don't think you can get the same effect on your phone if I take a pic the sample out in the sun, it doesn't translate. Or go to your local Ford dealer like TN suggests and check it out for yourself.
Thanks TN!

You are right my good gentleman ! My apologies..:headbonk: ON the subject at hand ,,but you are wrong about the blue.We are talking two different paints here Donson, what I think he was asking about was the Shadow Black, G1. You are mentioning Avalanche Grey which obviously does not have blue in it. Hope this clears that up. Thanks
Blue is a primary color. You don't get it by mixing other colors. And hopefully we know that yellow and green make blue
Well it has a blue hue to the color, as far as the Blue primary color..lol I blame the damn guys in my office !, when I ask if yellow and green make blue..lol They said yes, plus my 6 year olds coloring book sure looked like when the yellow, crossed the green...blue came out..oh well wrong again (someone is getting fired !!..lol) any wayBlue is a primary color. You don't get it by mixing other colors.
Yellow + Blue = Green
Yellow + Green = Yellow + (Yellow + Blue) = Yellowish Green
So it would have a slight amount of blue in it because of the green, but all the yellow really cancels it out.
:clap2:No problem...but you answer one of my earlier questions and that was does the Shadow Black have metal flake in it...because I read somewhere it does..Im not sure, but would not "pearl" have metal in it? if so this is not the "Jet black" it looks like in the photo..? Yes??I just know what SW Automotive said is in Shadow Black. I contacted one of the better Ford body shops here and they use PPG locally. What they said the color composite was as follows:
Jet Black, White Pearl and Blue Pearl. The later two were in small amounts. So there would be another verification so to speak that Blue Pearl is in the Shadow Black exterior color. I wanted to make sure before I selected that color. But with NT posting more Avalanche pics makes it harder to decide...
No biggie either way, these posts are blending. If I read wrong my apologies to all on the thread...
