From the sound of it, they are well under the xplan pricing on their stickers. Like wayyy below.
Yeah I have my concerns, those prices on the website are very promising.

I am honestly aiming for either an EB with performance pack for around 26-28, or a base GT for 29-31k

If I do decide to go PP on the GT, I hope to get it around 32-34. I am not planning on going Recaros, but its WAY too soon to say for sure

I picked up my Oxford White GT w/ Performance Pack in Manual Trans for $30,200. Of course it was a little more after taxes, tags, etc. Actual window sticker was $35,600 though so I think I got a hell of a deal.

I see X-Plan mentioned alot so I'll have to see how this works, I am new to buying a Ford of course
Houston is a weird market. Lowest prices that I have seen were at AutoNation Katy Ford. I chose my closest dealer since they would take x-plan. Go with the best price dealer, you probably get the vehicle serviced at the most convenient dealership.

Funny that you mention it, that is where all of the ones that are priced where I want them are located!

I need to find a thread and see what people are able to negotiate on these things, hopefully the website numbers arent too low and I can negotiate even further down
If you're looking to buy at AutoNation Ford Katy (where I bought mine about 2 weeks ago), it seems that they're prices are about as low as they will go already, which is nice since it takes most of the negotiating out of the process. At least that was my experience with my GT PP, but then again your mileage may vary. I tried getting them to go even $300 lower than what I ended up paying and they wouldn't budge. It's also worth noting that I have X-Plan, but I got it cheaper without even using X-Plan - their prices were already marked below what X-Plan was priced at.

AutoNation Ford Katy has a ton of inventory, so it's a great place to cross shop V6, EB, and GT.

Thanks, as long as they salesperson I end up with doesn't push me too much then I feel like they will be the place to go.

I am definitely not wanting to buy this saturday. I want to experience all of the cars, then maybe talk numbers, then go home and sleep on it. I also want the chance to cross shop some other cars too just in case. Last, I will have to part my veloster out first, gonna get some extra cash for a down payment, or to just have to start modding with

What is really surreal is that I am ready to start looking at a new car, and I still have parts for the VT that are being mailed to me at this very moment!

I care about infotainment
Definitely try an auto first. As someone else mentioned you don't want any struggles you have with the manual to color your impression of the car. I was always going to get a manual for the 2015/16 GT but for my first test drive I requested an auto to get used to the car without thinking about the clutch. In my 2nd and 3rd test drives I drove the manual to concentrate on getting used to the lighter clutch - compared to my s197.

I live in Pearland also and have been quoted $5k off sticker for a GT Premium at a few Houston area dealers.

Well, so far I am looking at a few different options for what I actually want to buy.

There is an ecoboost premium in Magnetic that I really want (not sure if it has the PP) and the site has it listed for 28k

Then, there is a Magnetic GT base that is listed at 30k that I plan to look into as well

And of course, there is a TY GT with PP and Recaros and the dealer has it listed at 33k

I need to find a thread and see what people are able to negotiate on these things, hopefully the website numbers arent too low and I can negotiate even further down
I highly recommend PP On either ecoboost or gt. if u go ecoboost u will want to mod it and PP brakes and 3.55 alone are well worth it.

Don't feel pressured to go manual vs auto. unless ur gonna race it and only if u r really good can u beat the auto efficiency and auto has paddle shifters if u feel the need for manual. Get what u want, I stop and go traffic manual is a pain in the a$$

there is a thread on price and xplan u should check out

I doubt it once fees are added and their prices they are showing include rebates, where u get to deduct rebates off xplan. Call ford and ask for mustang brochure so they will send you the 750 cash off coupon on top of it too. Not sure if there is a way to register for it online.

The $750 customer cash is location based.

Oh, ok. Also it's not available all the time, mine had expired and they would not extend it because the said it was not available in Oct 2014, but then 2 wks after bought mine, got new coupon in the mail...oh well still don't regret it.

I had my heart set on a 2015 GT for the last 3 years I have an 07 v6 currently. . I started looking at pricing and the Ecoboost made me debate on possibly getting ecoboost instead. When I test drove I drove the ecoboost first. It honestly surprised me. Then I drove the gt. As fun as it was to drive I decided to order an ecoboost. The gt would get me in trouble way too much. Plus since mine will be a daily driver I feel in winter I will have an easier time getting to work in the snow with the decrease in horsepower.

I wouldn't even bother with test driving a v6. Hp is too similar to the ecoboost and not as many options available for it.

:cheers:You did better than me i paid like $32,xxx. Didnt really have much negotiation leverage since the car was like 300 miles away at another dealer.

not bad.

I bought ecoboost sticker 35270, xplan 33153 +tax tag, no doc or dealer fees. But no 500 rebate or 750 at that time 10/2014. This is probably a great time to negotiate through end of this month.
