How many miless do you have on it? That seems really strange that the clutch would give out.

I just did the steeda clutch line Sunday your going to need atleast a 16" set of hose pliers I couldn't do it with my small set. I started with the bottom connection first then did the top. Overall feel pretty good doesn't lock out in high rpm anymore.

Does the factory throw bearing not hold up or it this just precaution?

Doesn't your car only have an exhaust/CAI/tune? Your clutch should last a lot longer then that. I can't imagine your 15 having that many miles either. Regardless I would swap in a t56.

I am surprised that his stuff is toast already as well.

My 03 cobra with 462RWHP/484RWTQ lasted me 5 years and 50k miles with zero issues. Went at least another 3 years after I sold it.

Brian - sucks for you that your stock stuff is already toast :(.

16,000 miles already on it. I thought the same thing but it's no biggy for me since I plan on going Forced induction in the near future.

I can't wait to install the Steeda Clutch line and I've heard mixed things about the bearing so I just went the extra step and decided to upgrade it as well.

no aluminum flywheel with steel face?
I just decided to go with the RAM Billet Steel flywheel due to recommendation from a friend.

This was my first manual car and learned off of this clutch as well and I already have 16,000 miles on the car as well. Daily drive a pretty good distance for work each day. I just see it as prep for my Forced induction setup in the future.

It's all good. Looking at the bright side of it and getting ready for the Roush TVS setup in the future :headbang:.

Two flordia guys. Not communicating!!

Must be something in Florida, cause I can't get in touch with David @ steeda anymore either.

Vos-man, why wasnt the trans going in gear? Sounded like your just upgrading the clutch, just because trans is out. But what was the problem with the trans? You have a stock shifter?
