Going to agree with UPRSteve, I wouldnt mix match things with Twin Disc Clutches. They are very sensitive and if you have a problem, both companies will wash there hands of the issues since you did not follow their recommendations. Once you are there invest in a shifter also.

I actually do follow his instagram ;). I'm surprised with as many car friends as he has that not one of them has a car they could of taught him stick on before he got his mustang. I learned stick on my old stage 2 wrx and put 50k miles with a 60 mile commute before the clutch started slightly slipping, but hey that's just me what do I know. Maybe he's granny shifting not double clutch'n like he should and now he and the mad scientist have to tear apart his transmission. He owes me a 10 second car.

Yea I wish I had the chance to practice a little bit more before I had received the car but in the end I'm not to worried about it because this just gives me a chance to prepare for my Forced Induction setup in the future.

Not at all actually. They pulled the clutch out of the transmission and it was in multiple pieces. Tech says he never seen anything like that so I think the clutch was faulty from the factory but I could be totally wrong. Hopefully they cover it.

Hopefully it was just a random failure, and not a sign of these clutches being bad.

I believe if Ford covers it'll only be with stock replacement parts, aftermarket you're on your own.

Say whattttt! Clutch on its last leg at only 16k miles?? I taught my wife to drive stick in this Mustang in 30min. You can't possibly be that bad of a driver lol. I had Ford replace a clutch under warranty on one of my previous Stang's, so it is possible it was faulty! Good luck man.

Nah I'm not that bad lol [emoji23][emoji23]. I learned quickly. The clutch came apart in pieces once the tech opened up the transmission so the clutch was most definitely faulty. I should find out a final verdict tomorrow.
