I agree, any dangerous issue should trigger a check engine light. Now I am not a super expert, but I would not worry too much. If anything I think its randomly going into a sorta safe mode for second here and there. If you were running lean you would be in trouble and if timing was super outa whack. Those issues should trigger a check engine light. If you get a CEL, then fer sure park her. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
So guys just had my Stage II Pro-charger installed today, everything sounds great and looks great but i don't know if maybe i was expecting a whole lot out of the box or if i have an issue? I don't feel like i gained much, maybe i'm not use to centrifugal but it feels like it pulls just as it did just with a whine/whistle now. Second, It feels like when i punch it (not even WOT) it "sputters" or "lags" (sorry I cant find the proper term) to get going, sorta like when its cold in the morning and it doesn't feel so right till it warms up, that issue. I'm sure 90% problem (worries) could be me and also need a tuner to get a hold of it. All im currently running on the car right now is a lethal resonator delete and a roush catback. This is not a post to bag procharger or anything of the sort! Was a GREAT put together kit and awesome customer service with any issue (which was bare non) So please any advice or help be great guys/gals. Be easy on me haha im not new to mustangs but new to Centrifugal.
Thanks All
GUYS PLEASE JUST SLOWWWWWW DOWN A NOTCH
No reason for custom tunes, or spending any money.
As stated, we are aware of the problem with a small handful of cars.
Since not all cars had the issue, it took a bit of time to track it down.
(The issue is not something that hurts the car, just limits power output)
Now that the template error has been found. The updated tune file is being tested.
We test this file on our fleet of cars first, before sending it out to customers.
That way we can make sure its working as intended.
However, since systems are often installed by dealers...
We don't have everyone's emails to send the files. SOoooooooo
Making a post on here won't help. (There are only a few cars effected)
But what we need is your email address.
All you have to do is email [email protected]
Give your serial number to the blower (so we know what system it is) and that you need the update.
Super easy, super fast.
Then as soon as the update is completed we will send it out to you.
We had this issue with RAM's last year, when Dodge decided to change a small item in the stock files halfway through the year.
It caused a check engine light for no reason. (annoying)
It did take a couple weeks for the fix to remove the light.
But thats all it was in the end.
Moral is, we can't work instant magic, but we are moving fast.
We needed to know the root of the issue. (Found)
We need to check it out on BETA cars, and test fleet first (In Process)
We need your emails (They are coming in)
We will email out the update, and all will be well.
Thanks again everyone for your understanding.![]()
Send me a PM, with your email address. As I stated on a previous post. I did not, nor do not, expect magic. I am a very understanding person. I have sent multiple e-mails to the tuning department with data logs. I did not get a response until this morning, after this post gained steam.
I do not think it is to much for a customer to ask for a response.
Example: We are gaining information and are now aware of problems. Please be patient and we will send further information when available.
Still kind of scary, is there only one employee at Procharger that can answer questions? Some sound like they're not getting answers or at least temporarily placated ("we are working on it"). If I remember correctly they were one of the reps in the best SC thread that turned it into a 10 page pissing match. Sounds like Anthony is taking one for the team through Livernois, I would probably wait for their resolution because it at the least sounds like it's being worked on there. They also have a great reputation. I probably wouldn't hesitate to contact Beefcake/Lund as well for some information, they also sound like a voice of experience.
you mean like theseI'm hoping this new tune they are going to send out works well. If so I might skip my dyno tune and wait til beefcake has some packages with injectors, bap, pulley and tune.
Thank you, I sent the email:cheers:GUYS PLEASE JUST SLOWWWWWW DOWN A NOTCH
