Ford dissing America?

From the OP--Am I serious? ...as to the removal of the "tri-bar" colors, yes.
As to "Dissing America"---just an attention grabber title...gets people thinking. New concept for many (but not all) on the internet.

NO, I do not think Ford is "anti-American"...but I do think they are positioning the Mustang as a "world global" car and thus the removing of the red, white, and blue tri-bars.

I suspect many here have or have had foreign makes of automobiles--From Hyundai to Honda to BMW. Would you have purchased the Honda if it came with the Japanese flag stuck on the side as part of the logo???

It's too busy of a logo for this car.

Even the simplified tri-bar logo on the back of the V6 looks too clunky.

Not true. 87-04 it was on trunk. 05-09 was on fake gas cap. As it was also on 11-14 gt's. Ford has always been somewhere on the car albeit inconspicuous but there.

The only Ford logo on my 2011 V6 was on a sticker on the window glass showing that it was a Ford tint.

Every one know mustang is as American as it gets I don't think it's necessary. I like the stealth look or the minimal badging

The 2015 Mustang is now global. So the tribar colors were removed for this year.

No offense, being a Canadian I like it without the colors.

If every car came with a flag or logo of the country they were made, no one would buy any of that crap. What if toyota and honda came with a japanese flag? That kind of thinking is 1970s. We should be thrilled people in europe and other parts of the world want to buy a mustang and its catering to the global market.

I'd be shocked if Ford had a meeting and made a conscious decision to undermine American influence in the global market by removing an emblem...especially considering they were so busy adding fluoride to the coolant and configuring the exhaust to produce invisible chemtrails.
