As discussed elsewhere it is looking like the Euro and UK Mustangs have plenty of differences to the US model which pissed us off as we want the American car.

Mustang is American as you get... Lol even if ford dumped huge amounts of money to get away from being called an American car, they wouldn't be able too!

Ford wanted a more modern badge. The red white and blue would clash with other colors. I like it colorless, much like I dont prefer any Ford badges anywhere (the blue color)

Hm am I the only one that finds this topic ridiculous
I agree with you. I made my feelings known in my previous post. I like the Tribar but colors do not define what is American. Plenty of other flags use red, white and blue. It's just silly- and like I said I am sure that there will be an MCA special, as well as other specialty Mustangs that will have the Tribar in full color. Ford is an American company, and a global brand. Before they put the Ford logo on the windsheild it didn't even say Ford anywhere on the car. Yet you knew it was a Mustang and you knew it came from Ford.

Lots of Mustangs over 50 years didn't have the tri-bar--Mustang II's had a different pont--Most fox bodies didn't even have a pony. Some years the pony is in a corral, some years it wasn't--some had both. I think the pony is one of the most iconic trade marks there is and even in outline you know what it refers too---well maybe the Calgary Stampeders haha.

Because a red white and blue logo on a 21st century automobile looks pretty tacky and out of place. I have a SN95 and I think it looks awkward on that body style as well.

Where is the red, white, and blue tri-bar on the 2015 Mustang?

Anyone else think it is strange that on the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang that aspect of it's heritage is missing.

The 6 cyl rear badge has the tri-bar but totally devoid of color.

With the Mustang going "international" in 2015--time to dump the old red, white, and blue from the car?????

Yeah--new design , rebirth argument can be made but if you look you at the 15 that argument falls apart all kinds of heritage nods...GT honeycomb grill looks taken from the '65, two tone 50th interior from the old "Pony" interior, Wimbledon White --original 1st sold Mustang color, tri individual tail lights--taken from old the 1963 Mustang II concept, LEs triple glass side windows creating the old 64-66 fastback look, Ford PR photos of the WW LE with a 65 in WW to stress the heritage and historic tie etc.

Why not have the chrome pony/tri bar in use with say the wheel center cap for a touch of the original.

All the classic nods are there..just no red, white, and blue. And the LE in just white and blue--with that 3 color tri=bar wouldn't red, white, and blue LEs have made more sense.

Oh, the LE owners got a gift pack from Ford. In it is a phone battery charger with the Chrome on it...in your car color...W White or K. Blue. Interestingly the little flyer with with the charger shows the charger being made in there colors....red, white and blue...just where did that red LE go?
I always thought the red, white, and blue tribar was supposed to be for the French flag, since it was vertical lines.

Yes you are.

Obviously Ford is anti-American since this isn't a factory paint option, but this Toyota has it:

:D
Ha! I just threw up a little.
