Impressive, yes. What I want, no. Some people have a very hard time distinguishing the difference. They think their own desire is the only right way and everyone else is stupid. Rampant on this site for some reason.

Anyway, impressive time considering.

Edit: thought of how to express. Not what I would build but I can respect his accomplishment.

The modern car culture will never achieve the brotherhood of the hot rod culture or the motorcycle (specifically Harley) culture until they can embrace that respect no matter of the method. Sad to see it devolving instead of evolving.

To each his own is the way I see it. I don't want to remove all that stuff to run a 10/11, but if someone does, then more power to them.

This puts it into perspective for some, I'd hope. A few members here are probably very close to this power, yet no where near the ET/trap.

Nothing miraculous here...just physics at work.

Also, still gonna add my 2c here and say the fuel issue is blown a little out of proportion. Still willing to believe that with the right hp/tq curve a lot more power is out there with stock fueling.

Stripped race car. Yea, had one. Thats why I bought this car. To have that kind of power and almost that handling in a car I could put a kids seat in the back of. So the AC is gonna stay for now.

This cars results while impressive should not give anyone the impression that your stock motor can handle alot more power then whats already been suggested. Taking hundreds of pounds off this car, installing a bigger turbo, 3:73 gears, a fuel cell pusher pump, water to air intercooler etc... allows this car to do what it was built to do, make 1/4 mile passes.

Its alot of money to spend on a brand new car but if thats what they want to do more power to them as some of what they are doing will transfer over and benefit regular peoples cars to some degree.
