Ultimate Pedals....

http://www.ultimatepedals.com/home.htm

Found them via the Raptor forum while looking for a rubber insert for the Steeda pedal (which looks like a great solution)...This company after exchanging emails with Robert over there today is a place that will design based on your needs and they follow a "not a one size solution".

Just thought I would pass along for those looking to be able to heel toe better.

I've only had mine for a week or so and still getting use to the pedal placement for heel toe. Its not too bad but the brake/gas do require some extra roll of the ankle to nail it as compared to my old car.

I gave up and went on this hunt for a solution...the pedals are too far for me.. I like the Steeda, but no rubber slip I am leaning towards this solution.

Why not just put a piece of grip tape from Home Depot on the Steeda pedal??? Thats what Im going to do.

If anyone approaches that ultimate pedals vendor about a mustang solution, let me know. Too busy to do anything on it right now myself.

I have spoke to Robert over there and I am about to place my order. He is one of those vendors who is all about customer support, and I am convinced the product will be the same! My GT500 has a gap of 2 1/2" between Brake and Gas, the S550 is 3", so now I know why Im struggling...He has recommended a 3/4" add, which is the route I will go. I will also be engraving something on the brake, maybe Ford Racing...More costly than the Steeda, but it will be exactly the way I want it. Will update photos once installed.

Yes, I was going to do this as someone posted but I was not giving up on the rubber inserts when I found this vendor. The Steeda pedal looks great, but I felt the extra coin to get what I wanted fit me better...either solution I think solves the gap issue. This was by no way a one or the other, it was an alternate to a problem.

Looking forward to pics. I was going to pop for the Steeda setup. May just hold off a little longer. Heel and toeing with the stock setup is just awkward for me.

Just finalized look and feel:

Only difference, is my Gas pedal will be slightly wider, dead pedal will be engraved with Ford Racing, and all the holes will be rubber rounded dimples.

Robert was awesome and super patient with all my nagging questions! Will post once I receive and install.

I love the options. They have a huge variety to choose from! Multiple pedal shapes. Multiple surface finishes including satin, smooth brushed, and textured non-slip. Without rubber grip inserts, with flat rubber inserts, and with domed rubber inserts.

I'm liking the sounds of something like this:

Just not sold on their gas pedal shape setups yet. Nothing looks like it hangs low enough or goes leftward enough. Hard to wrap my head around their gallery.

or you could just go this route; http://auto-blip.com/auto-blip
Installed one in my Boss 302 and never looked back. Awesome product :headbang:
I read that whole BOSS302 thread regarding this. I really want to order this... just afraid to be the first one to do it. Doesn't look like there's any documented S550 work yet.

I would suggest contacting Auto-Blip and asking about the S550. The unit hooks into the drive by wire system so should not be a problem. Once installed it's a very easy calibration and the duration & timing of the rev match is completely adjustable to your driving style. The unit can also be turned on or off. I rarely use on the street as I find it a little annoying in traffic but for some "spirited" open road driving or track days it's awesome!!
