I didn't read anything but the first post, but had the same thing happen. I went to the track and if I left hard it would fall on its face and feel like I was pulling a weight. Other times it wouldn't. After that track visit I found out I needed to hold the tractiong control button for 5 plus seconds and it would turn off advanced traction control. It seems to not interfere nearly as much on the street. I Haven't been back to the track, but it def. seems to help.

I went 12.8 at 112 stock and when the computer would kick it I would slow down to high 13's. It was a pita.

good luck, i hope you beat your time with this new info.

btw i tried this on the way home, you dont need to be on the brake or clutch, or anything. i held the button for several seconds while cruising at 80mph in 6th, it turned off no issues.

It did have nannies holding it back ... It has 217 HP but the factory kills 75% power in first gear with what they call a safety mode that you could not turn off ... We hacked the ECU and removed it ...:) Safe mode would kick in if the ECU thought the rider MIGHT be in trouble .. So it's kind of like the Mustang programing ..

Ok I'm still having problems ... Traction control OFF , Advanced Traction control OFF ,

Same problem .. Leave the starting line at anything above idle the car will pull hard for a few feet and then the motor loses ALL power and falls back to 1000 RPM.. Feels like you are pulling a 10,000 pound trailer or the Brakes are FULL ON .. It takes forever for the engine to rev up to 6500 RPMs .. As soon as I shift to second gear all the power is restored ..Second gear , third and four gears are fine , it pulls like a bat out of hell .. This only happens in first gear ... Now if I leave at Idle it doesn't do it ... But now it has started a new problem . If I leave at idle and then punch it after full clutch release it pulls very hard till it hit around 5500 and then it loses all power ... Shift to second and power is restored and pulls all the way to 7k and never noses over ..

So we have 3 things going on here , Traction control , Advanced Traction control and clutch protection mode ... Bama tells me that my flash ( all their flashes ) have the clutch protection mode turned off and that mine is turned off .. My Traction control is turned off .. I press the T/C button and hold till the Advanced Traction control window pops up and reads Advanced Traction control OFF and I hit ok , even if I don't hit ok it still does it .. This is what I have been told to do to turn off both the T/C and Advanced T/C ... I have also done it by the owners manual ... So I have tried to both ways many many times and it still does the same thing ..

I am really lost here .. Either Bama didn't turn off the clutch protection control like they said or I have a different problem that might be in the T/C or Advance T/C system .. I did run that one 12.78 leaving at idle a few weeks ago , but leaving any harder it loses all power in first gear and runs high 14s ..

I'm ready to take a 10k loss and trade the damn thing in for a automatic car .. It just sickens me to be having this problem and not have an answer to the cause.. I can't race the car this way and that makes the car worthless to me .. I can't mod it and add any more HP to the car because that would be a waste of money .. I have to find the problem .. Please help ....

I would recommend contacting bama and sending them some data logs when this happens. They should be able to find the problem that way.

So i m lost, the car has a lunch control but even with the lunch control it can limit the power due to clutch slipping? Why the hell they put the lunch control if they are going to limit the power from the start? Riding the clutch to control the hook up might even end up with the lost in power too then! My ls3 camaro had torque management but that was all, god damn it i can't wait for the weather to warm up so i can hit the track to see if this bs is all true!

My car does none of this. This person also has a Bama tune that is likely the cause of these issues.
