If you install the 2018 intake manifold do does that mean you have to run 2018 air intake tube?

I have the stock 2015 intake on it still.Depends on the intake you have.
I'd strongly recommend something that flows more at high rpm, else the reason for doing the 18 manifold is null. The 18 stock intake is definitely an improvement. How do you use the car? There are many options that maximize the power gain from 5000-7500.I have the stock 2015 intake on it still.
It's going boosted spring 2020. It's a weekend toy roll racing and drag racing. Road trips.I'd strongly recommend something that flows more at high rpm, else the reason for doing the 18 manifold is null. The 18 stock intake is definitely an improvement. How do you use the car? One more thing. Do you need the 18 throttle bodyYou may. Sometimes the intake tube can hit the hood because the angle at the throttle body is different on the 2018 manifold.
No, and it wouldn't work anyway. 18 is a digital signal. 15-17 analog. One more thing. Do you need the 18 throttle body
Yep, no change of TB needed. I would recommend the JLT CAI and am currently testing the 2018/350 JLT CAI on my car.One more thing. Do you need the 18 throttle body
I just picked up an 18 JLT this afternoon. How do you like it so far. Still waiting on my tune to comeYep, no change of TB needed. I would recommend the JLT CAI and am currently testing the 2018/350 JLT CAI on my car.
Nice! I'll know a little more after I log some pulls tonight.I just picked up an 18 JLT this afternoon. How do you like it so far. Still waiting on my tune to come
Sounds good. By the way are you adding anything to the shield to seal it to the hood?Nice! I'll know a little more after I log some pulls tonight.
Just some redneckery, lol. Put some weather stripping over the edges of the box. Seems to help.Sounds good. By the way are you adding anything to the shield to seal it to the hood?
