Doesn't sound bad at all. Do you have any drone or raspiness inside the car?

Drone right at 2000, but I also have no resonator or muffler. Just 3" piping off the turbo back. Other than that it isn't bad. Screams at WOT. Raspiness is subjective I think. I used to own a M3 so Rasp to me may be different to others. To me it's not really raspy at all.

Ultimate Racing made a work of art. Their exhaust is flawless with perfect welds and fitment, also some top notch customer service. In fact I'm thinking of dumping the WMS dp for a UR dp just because of the sheer difference in quality.

Does this just modify the stock parameters for launch control that come with a manual trans or is it a setting in Cobb to add it to any S550?

nice! I am a little surprised with the quick revs. Faster than say wrx's or evos.

Which M3 did you own? How does it compare?

thanks

I don't think the Ecoboost comes with launch control, just the GT.

It's a setting you can turn on using Cobb's ATR software. Ecoboost's do not get launch control from factory.

I had an e92 with catless x-pipe and Gintani race axleback. It was raspy and droned like crazy... but the sound was intoxicating and I couldn't stay out of the pedal. Screamed at the 8400 rpm redline. I loved every bit of the car and will probably own another one in the future. Build quality was far better, as it should be, than the mustang. Reliability... not so much. Car had so many issues. not major ones but just so many little quirks that annoyed the hell out of me. Local dealer couldn't figure it out why I was having so many problems. They wanted to replace the entire wiring harness to the tune of $7000. I said no thank you and sold it to a buddy who has deeper pockets and is now racing it.

so awesome. E92's are starting to creep up and become my favorite m3, although a nice e46 will catch my eye! lol

Not to be to technical how did the handling feeling compared to the ecoboost? Not to start a numbers convo isnt the ecoboost just a few LBS lighter? 100?

thanks

Ecoboost is quicker, m3 was faster... Much faster. Handling I'd say is close to same I can throw both of these cars into a corner hard and have confidence. Braking is better in the ecoboost. Lighter and stronger brakes up front. One place where the m3 lacked was braking.
