Odd question for the day. Is it possible to make the burnout mode on a accessport into a launch control for us auto guys.

Unfortunately not, your stall converter is what controls your launching RPM. The Burnout mode only controls the RPM you can rev two when your front wheels are under your desired MPH that you set within Cobb and your back wheels are spinning. I usually set the front wheel MPH threshold to 10mph.

Makes perfect sense. Guess I'll just have to learn to keep my rpms in the right spot

It's pretty easy for us to launch our cars. Just hold the brake press the pedal till you at the rpm you want to launch at. Let off of the brake and press the gas and you have a great launch. I've come to find out the ~2000 is the sweet spot for me to launch at.

It is pretty easy to launch any automatic. But once nervousness takes over a 4k launch is just going to roast the tires. I was looking for more consistent method that's all. I've found that at around 2300 is the sweet spot for me. Just enough of a spin and then a dead hook. Love the look on people's faces when you tell them what's under the hood
