The SCT x4 does not fully support the 2015 and all the tuning parameters, the new options coming or a custom tune is the way I shall be going.
I keep hearing this but have yet to be shown any info or proof on it. What can you show us ? I'm not sold that it lacks yet. I also have faith that if there is an issue it will be sorted out soon enough.

I think most of it is hear-say. I haven't seen anything support it either. If their is lack in the SCT product, it can most likely be resolved with a firmware update on the handheld.

My point exactly . Shops are tuning cars daily with it so it must be working somewhat.

For sure you PMed me pricing on the ARH catback and had the best pricing I got quotes for. Just have been waiting to pull the trigger.

My only worry is the extra cost right now. I know the full system H pipe retailed for $3065. Even with your discounted price, install is still heavy on headers. I've seen for $600-1000. I know to do just the catback will be cheap- about $100 install (if Steeda will ever get back to my email with a install quote since we're only a few miles apart!)
I'd be very curious to hear this if you end up going with the full system. All full ARH systems i've seen floating around so far are with the x-pipe.

Livernois went into some detail, do a search. :)

Also surely by the fact the OP has stated in this thread the cam lope tunes will only be available on ngauge or when it comes out, in short SCT cannot support those parameters.

So all the people that paid 400$ or more for the sct are just shit out of luck ?
From that thread I'm getting that only the autos lack tunable parameters.

Manuals will have problems with parameters as well....hopefully SCT develops better software soon.

The problem for me isn't so much instant gratification it's a company putting out a product that isn't complete. 400$ doesn't grow on trees at my house yet.
I also blame vendors to some degree for not saying hey hold off a while the tuners aren't there yet. Now all the sudden direction has changed to new devices when I was told sct was good to go with lund.

Btw I'm not speaking about Beef I'm speaking for all vendors pushing it.

they can tune the cars with as much as sct will give them.

most people want a tune, and pretty quick, we work as hard as possible, and will continue to as things come available

Terry, for those of us getting a custom tune on the dyno will we be less affected by this? I'm hearing some sources saying if you are doing a dyno tune the sct x4 is just being used to store the tune and parameters do not matter and some say it makes no difference custom tune or canned tune you will be limited either way. And I'm speaking for a manual transmission.

I would think that it would be relatively the same since both canned tune and dyno tune are still using the same software to tune. You can just dial it in more accurately since you can make more revisions and tweaks.

Ahh ok I see. So people with x4 are kinda stuck with a sub par tune, great. Wish I would of known this before I purchased the x4. I do still have it in the box unopened.
