So the cam tunes won't be available on the x4? They were available on the x3.

So you're saying it wont be available on the x4?
I can't speculate as to what the x4 will be able to flash and won't be able to flash

It's weird sct would backtrack and make the x4 able to do less than the x3.

I think it's because the pcm is slightly different for 2015 so they had to start from almost the ground up

we offer a lund package for the 2015's with the x4 right now.

n/a revisions are always free,

the cam tunes will come with the ngauge where all parameters can be calibrated

as far as the auto, yes, we will do the autos' just like the other coyotes

heck we even did supercharged autos

Ok good deal. I will definitely hold out as planned on the X4.

I assume then that you will carry the nguage that comes with tunes as a package as well?

Also I have seen the cam tunes require no cats. Is this still the case and what happens if you do it with cats on? I assume that it just hurts the cats over the long run, but if going to a catless setup or headers eventually wont matter anyway.

they won't add them for a catted setup

I know. What is the technical reason for this though? If I want to kill my cats (and replace or do headers later) isn't that my business? It's not any worse than running catless to begin with I cannot imagine.

It kills your cats from melting them either from too much fuel or not enough spark. Melting cats like this can harm the engine as it will not be able to breathe. Lots of Ford Escape v6s blow emgines if they have a lingering misfire because it melts the cats.

when you cat stops up the entire exhaust system and your engine blows, I have a feeling you wouldn't be happy

Gotcha melting and can clog. Didn't know what the technical problem with having the cats on the lop tune.

Maybe will be reconsidering not doing headers now with the catback and just go all ARH...

For sure you PMed me pricing on the ARH catback and had the best pricing I got quotes for. Just have been waiting to pull the trigger.

My only worry is the extra cost right now. I know the full system H pipe retailed for $3065. Even with your discounted price, install is still heavy on headers. I've seen for $600-1000. I know to do just the catback will be cheap- about $100 install (if Steeda will ever get back to my email with a install quote since we're only a few miles apart!)

I would like to know as well, that's the reason I oredered the x4
The SCT x4 does not fully support the 2015 and all the tuning parameters, the new options coming or a custom tune is the way I shall be going.
