After quite a few crappy fitting modifications and losing thousands of dollars on them I am selling my car.

3 is a magic number for issues with a car... If you’ve got 1 or 2 problems, people can generally live with it, but once it gets to 3, people want the entire car gone.

so a word of advice is to fix things before it gets that far, and you can love driving your car for years.
this is also why its good to make changes slowly and one at a time unless you just have to do stuff at once. these cars don't need much to be great and lots of stuff out there is almost snake oil.

That’s how I have always done it in the past. One modification at a time. But this time all 3 parts came in almost at the same time and I got excited to install it. That excitement went away pretty quick though lol. It’s ok, I needed to take a step back and listened to what you guys said. The car will come back better than ever before.

I have a build thread on here if anyone is interested in the outcome of all these modifications, I will be posting the results there.
Link?

Your story reminds me of an experience my son had with a Yamaha R1 motorcycle. He kept installing aftermarket exhaust that was supposed to increase HP by a significant amount. Every one he dumped money in proved to have reduced HP when tested on a dyno. The bottom line is aftermarket parts can be a crap shoot - some are going to make you happy, some not so much :)

That is where forums like this shine. I don't look at manufacturer's claim either OEM nor aftermarket. I come to forums to find peer reviewed parts that have a proven track record of functioning as expected.

Same here, although I also keep in mind that it’s human nature to complain publicly about things more so than praise things publicly. But, if there’s enough complaints about a product, I usually stay away

Link to my build thread is in my signature, my signature is at the bottom of every post. It's in blue letters. It will be awhile before the new hood arrives though.

This is true, however if you look at my post history or my build page, I give praise to the company's that truly make a good product all the time.

Thank you, I just enjoyed the first page of your build thread and looking forward to reading the rest to catch up to where you are today.

This is off topic, but I like the Offroam phone holder. I am currently using a rear cup holder phone mount and don't like it being in my way for shifting gears. Have you had any complaints from passengers not getting their fair share of AC?

People that are viewing on their mobile devices may not be seeing the signatures. I know on my Galaxy I don't. I only see signatures when I am on a PC.

Funny, I didn't even KNOW they had an app. I just link to the site from my email, lol.
