Aftermarket puddle lights

ebay has a bunch for far less. choose wisely my friend.

Put these on the SuperCrew. Not quite as crisp as the 'stangs, but that may also be partly because of the distance from the ground....LOL. Hardest part was convincing myself it was OK to holesaw the doors.

I thought these went under the mirror. I would never drill in my door. All that does is invite rust.

Many of the ones found at the ebay link i posted go inside the mirror. I would never drill into my door. Im going to put a set on my wifes magnetic v6.

I INSTALLED PUDDLE LIGHTS ON MY WIFE's v6 TODAY

This is what the drivers looked like on our specked floor. it was easy. I will post instructions and more pics as soon as I can. it looks better than my GT puddle lights. the red white and blue stand out as well as the detail in the pony.

Do you have a link on ebay to the lights that you bought? All of the ones I see are made to put in the bottom of the doors. By moving them to the mirrors, I'm sure that the image will not display properly.

You're right. I put these at the bottom of the door. In the plastic, where there is the greatest inner void. Its completely unnoticeable. No drilling into metal!

Looks great but doesn't it kind of defeat the entire purpose if the door has to be open for them to come on? If you find a mirror mounted one please let me know

I just installed the factory pony projectors in my base mirrors. I ordered the projectors for the '14 mustang because they are $36 vs the almost $200 for the '15 projectors. I wired them like the stock ones are so that they come on when the door is opened or if the car is unlocked by the remote.
