Just installed h pipe and active exhaust is acting funny

So I just installed a Roush H pipe and Oem Mach 1 exhaust. The car will switch to quiet mode and will switch to normal mode and back and fourth fine. I can hear it switch and can look in the pipe with flashlight and see that it switches.

However the darn thing will not go into sport or track mode. Now I checked the wires on the passenger side and they are not damaged or bent or pinched which is the usual issue but that's not the case.

I did move the motors from my oem active gt exhaust to the Mach 1 exhaust and now I am wondering if I messed up with the spring placement inside the mufflers where the motors sit on top of.

But I would think if that was the case, it would not switch from normal to quiet and quiet back to normal.

Any help is appreciated.

When I switch it to track mode and get out the car and look in the tail pipe with a flashlight the valves will just barely be open and it track mode they should be wide open.

Yes with the car running and with it turned off. I am wondering if I installed the exhaust actuator springs wrong but if I did that then im pretty sure it would not switch from normal to quiet.

So I checked the fuses and did the relearn. Neither worked. Now what is weird is I now have quiet, normal and sport. It goes to track and kicks me right back to normal.

So today I dropped the exhaust again to check the springs in the actuator and they seemed fine. I decided to take a picture based of the pictures you had posted. I think they are in the same position.

If the AE module springs are positioned correctly, check any/all harnesses that are associated with the AE. It’s been known that IF the exhaust is dropped that the harnesses to the AE components get damaged because the original Ford wiring is too short.

Even if the outer conduit “looks good”, the concern isn’t how the conduit looks, it’s the wires inside the conduit. Check for chafing, loose wire pins in the connectors, pulled out or broken pins and actual broken wires.

Yes I did. I checked them by and before installing the motors and made sure they were in the full open position before installing the motors.

I also stuck a pry bar inside the pipe and moved the flap some once the motors were installed to see if they had tension on them and they did. So the spring had to be aligned right and connected.

It’s just so odd because it will go to every single mode except track, it will go there but kick me back to normal mode.
